Uncle was super friendly and funny. Had a last minute alteration to be done - went down on Sunday afternoon after checking with him on Whatsapp on Saturday evening.
Alteration done in 1 hour and it is perfect! Super reasonably priced too - quoted me much lower than every other place I reached out too!

I came across this place while looking to have my jeans shortened. The service was incredibly fast—I was able to pick up my jeans within just 30 minutes! Of course, this was possible because there was no queue and I only had one item to alter. Would totally come back again

I had a vintage skirt I needed to downsize (waist) by a few inches. Ivan did a great job keeping the integrity of the fabric. After years of wearing, the skirt is still holding up. Came back again because the buckle was creating a small hole in the fabric and was at a loss on how to fix it.
All the skirts and jeans I needed to downsize were done beautifully with no obvious trace of where it was taken in. He will also advise on the aesthetics of the finished piece if you want things done a certain way.
I wasn't tight on time. Gotta give the man time to work his magic. Prices were very reasonable as well.

Got to know about this place through a recommendation. I must say prices here are very very reasonable, Ivan is a friendly guy who’s great at his job! I even asked him to loosen a dress for me because it was too tight and he did a fantastic job. So pleased I discovered this shop because alteration places in malls charge exorbitant prices.

Right, so, I will be honest, I didn't actually use Ivan's tailoring services. I am sure he is a perfectly capable tailor and alterations specialist, but his attitude completely put me off. Let me explain…
My friend and I arrived at his shop a little after 11 am. I needed to have four pairs of jeans hemmed, and my friend wanted to get the waistband of his shorts adjusted. Ivan's shop door was slightly ajar, so we assumed he was open for business. I called out his name before entering, but was met with a rather grumpy expression.
The first thing he said, before we would even properly introduced ourselves, was, "It'll take 7 to 14 days." Now, we weren't in a desperate rush to get our clothes back, so I told him the waiting time wasn't a problem. However, he seemed incredibly unhelpful and kept trying to discourage us from using his services. My friend eventually lost his patience and suggested we go somewhere else. We ended up going to Michelle's Alteration on the third floor instead.
I found Ivan's 4.6-star Google rating quite perplexing. Several reviews mentioned his helpfulness and patience, yet my friend and I encountered a completely different side to him. Perhaps we inadvertently annoyed him, though I can't say for sure. He might simply have been having a bad day. Regardless, we definitely won't be returning.

I recently had an excellent experience at this alteration shop. Uncle was highly professional and offered invaluable advice on the perfect alteration length, taking the design of my garment into careful consideration.
I altered 5 dresses and some of them have inner linings / zips at the side which I was quite worried that it might not turn out well.
His superb workmanship exceeded my expectations, and the finished product was flawless. I highly recommend this shop for any alteration needs!

Alterations were very uneven. One pant leg is longer than the other! Stitching also wasn’t straight. Really regret sending it over to him for alteration .

Tried Ivan's on a whim and couldn't be more pleased with the final results! I got a cheongsam and a basketball jersey altered, and requested for a dress to be cut into a top and he managed to do it all perfectly at reasonable prices.
