I really like the Isetan supermarket located in the basement of the Isetan department store. It’s very convenient to get to by MRT, and from there, you can easily continue shopping at the many other nearby malls. My favorite buys here are the Japanese beef slices, sushi, bento boxes which are always top quality, and the bread stall that offers fresh and tasty options. There are also frequent festive food promotions that make each visit feel special. Prices are higher than your regular supermarket, but it’s well worth a visit if you’re looking to splurge on something premium or uniquely Japanese.

Glad to visit Isetan Scotts again. I’m happy to see that there’s no drastic changes here since the late 90s. ( ** such a pity that the large aquarium at Wisma Atria had gone, so was Isetan Wisma ). Isetan Scotts still has a place in my heart as I spent my growing up years wandering around Orchard Road, Singapore. Also happy to see that the Isetan Supermarket and Shaw Theatre Lido are still around.

I was really disappointed with the second box — taiyaki all uncooked. Totally unacceptable, especially after buying 6 just to get the free one! On top of that, the promoter had such a bad attitude — didn’t even say sorry when I returned the uncooked taiyaki. Talked to me like I was the problem. I've no idea what did she say to the taiyaki stall owner, what I've got in return was a box of 6 "recooked" taiyaki, not even a fresh patch! Disappointed with the quality of Japanese snacks!

Very bad experience today (24-12-2025)…bought a gift and after going home realised that there is no merchandise inside the box. They did not even bother to put any notice there or perhaps trying to cheat customers by selling empty boxes.. Cashier which is an old lady also did not acted professionally and did not give any receipt. Cannot imagine this is run by Japanese. All customers should take extra precautions when shopping in this place!!!

Very well maintained shopping centre with a variety of shopping places and dining options. The supermarket downstairs can feel a bit pricey, but it has lots of unique items, such as Japanese products, Chitose vegetables and more. Highly recommend!

I recently bought a pair of golf shoes from Isetan Scotts, and it reminded me how much I still enjoy shopping at a physical store. Nowadays, it’s getting harder to find well-stocked stores — most things are online — but I still prefer being able to see, touch, and try the shoes before buying. The staff at Isetan were friendly and helpful, and I managed to find the perfect pair that fits comfortably. Sometimes, the feeling of walking out with a product you’ve personally tested is something online shopping can’t replace.

Poor customer service. When I first entered the store, I was greeted with a lovely sight of quality fruits and great variety of cooked foods. The supermarket had a very nice and clean interior. Naturally, I was very excited and impressed to see such a wide and wonderful selection of premium fruits that I was immersed in the moment and decided to share this with my partner via photos on WhatsApp. Up till this point, I had not noticed the "No photography" sign. A staff member then jumped out suddenly from behind me and raised her voice at me, immediately barking "No photography, girl! You took so many already. There is a sign here and another sign outside the store!", pointing at the door entrance. I was really appalled and stunned to speak. She could have approached me in a more professional way and I would have gladly deleted the photos immediately. I understand she was just doing her job but I felt that it could have been carried out in a more gentle manner. The benefit of doubt that customers did not see the no photography sign should be given to them when staff members approach customers to politely remind them, instead of doing so in a manner of reprimand and discipline. This encounter really ruined my experienced today, and I left the supermarket feeling quite disturbed and honestly disappointed because what started out as a lovely experience had turned into a unnerving and unpleasant one.

Scotts Isetan is a popular shopping destination located in the heart of Singapore’s Orchard Road, specifically within Shaw House. Known for its high-end, curated selection of products, it’s a favorite among both locals and tourists. Here's a quick review based on general experiences: ### Pros: 1. **Premium Brands**: The store offers a wide variety of luxury and premium brands, particularly in fashion, beauty, and home goods. 2. **Japanese Specialty**: Isetan is renowned for its Japanese imports, especially in food and grocery. Their supermarket is a highlight, offering authentic Japanese products that are hard to find elsewhere. 3. **Great Service**: Staff are generally very knowledgeable and courteous, providing a pleasant shopping experience. 4. **Food Hall**: The food hall, with its Japanese delicacies, fresh sushi, and sashimi, is a must-visit for foodies. 5. **Exclusive Events**: Scotts Isetan often hosts exclusive sales and pop-up events, especially focused on Japanese culture and goods. ### Cons: 1. **Pricey**: As it focuses on premium and imported brands, prices tend to be on the higher side. 2. **Crowded**: The location can get quite busy, especially during sales or festive seasons, making the shopping experience a bit hectic. 3. **Limited Parking**: Parking in Orchard can be expensive and limited, though Shaw House does provide parking facilities. Overall, Scotts Isetan is a great spot if you're looking for luxury goods, Japanese specialties, and a high-end shopping experience.
