Worst customer service of all iORA outlets I've been to. I went at 2pm on a weekday, all 8 fitting rooms were empty, only about 3 other customers in the shop just browsing. There were about 4 to 6 staff, yet none came to assist me despite seeing that I had an armful of clothes I wanted to try. A few were talking among themselves. In other outlets, the staff was always attentive and friendly, will always approach me to help me, give me suggestions on clothes, take my clothes to fitting room first. This outlet is an exception. I had to request one staff to help me bring what I've picked out to fitting room while I continued shopping. In total, I picked out about 20 pieces to try on. Staff insisted I take only 6 pcs into fitting room at a time. I understand if there's a queue, or if there are many customers in the shop and might queue soon, but the place was empty. Really empty, every one of the 8 fitting rooms was unoccupied. Every single one. When I left, it was still 5 empty stalls out of 8. It really irks me when service staff are inflexible. You must understand that customers are looking for a shopping experience. For a customer to go into your shop on a day they took leave, you should seize the opportunity to make her day by delivering a positive shopping experience. You can't even make an exception when it doesn't inconvenience anybody. "Manager" even tried to explain to me that it's because there have been thefts, which offended me even more. I have patronised iORA at Bugis, Lalu at novena, and both times happily bought many pieces. Staff there let me bring as many pieces as I wanted if there was no queue. I was very happy with the quality of their service in the other outlets. When we reach a certain age with a certain amount of spending power and have limited time due to work and family commitments, it actually makes us happy to find suitable things that we would like to spend our money on. I walked into this iORA outlet feeling excited (coz it's so huge, with very large collection), was thinking I'll definitely be able to at least find 200 bucks worth of clothes to buy, in the end I left in a super bad mood and empty handed. 2 stars because I like the clothes which are pretty good quality and value for money.
