I recently tried their beverages for the first time.
The taro drinks were good. They were flavourful and not overly sweet.
The Thai tea drink was also good. It had a thick and milky texture.
The serving time was fast. However, the serving size was small. It was extremely small, just a few gulps, and the drinks were empty. It was also filled with ice and wasn't even full.
Many seats were available, even on weekends.
But still ok if you're looking for a less crowded spot.

The same store that was previously open as a Thai-branded cafe has changed its name to HK-style. While the Thai-style restaurant had good buns, toast, drinks, and noodles, the current location is quite different.
When there are fewer customers, it takes about 30 minutes to get two drinks and one toast. The drinks are poured from pre-made jug, even though had requested special orders that usually must be made fresh. The toast is not toasted and crispy; it’s soft and has few thick slab of butter that can’t be eaten as it is. There’s too much butter on it.
Unless there are improvements, it’s hard to go back to this place. Price is not the cheapest, unless they have better quality and service

Convenient for a quick meal. Beef brisket and beef balls are tender and flavorful. Milk tea is strong and suggest less sugar.

Happened to chance upon this place on Good Friday after we walked around Wisma/Taka and thought to give it a try.
Seems to be free seating - we chose a table then ordered at the cashier to get a buzzer.
There were only a few tables occupied at first, but soon enough at like 3.30pm it was full house 😮
Thai milk tea was more gao than other local coffee chains so far. Milo toast was interesting. Needed to drink water after the meal.
One of our friends who regularly drank teh-peng decided to try teh o for the first time in their life at this spot and said it was nice, was willing to try teh o more in future 😂

Thai style Toast Box, with interesting flavors of Taro, Thai milk tea, etc thick toasts. Ordered the Taro toast set that comes with half boiled eggs and drink. Didn’t think that Taro cream and Kaya would pair well but it did. Winglets are done in the traditional way that you used to find in school canteens in the 90s. Overall a pleasant experience where food is yummy, but don’t expect any service or atmosphere. A good alternative from the usual toast cafes.
