I recently visited this Hong Kong–style café and was pleasantly surprised by their beverages. The drinks are incredibly silky smooth, and you can really taste the quality from their use of Carnation milk instead of condensed milk — rich, fragrant, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciate.
I also tried their polo bun. While the top isn’t as crispy as some other places, the flavour is still enjoyable and satisfying. It’s a good enough treat, especially alongside their drinks.
Overall, the café has great potential, and I’m happy with this visit. I’ll definitely drop by again to try their other dishes, especially the noodle options. Looking forward to my next visit!

The milk tea is just nice! Not sweet as they do not use condensed milk but carnation milk - Hong Kong style milk tea.
The peanut butter French Toast is very nice! Really thick and done just nice! The cold jelly dessert is nothing to scream about. So so.
Atmosphere is also pleasant but beware on weekends, if you sit by the sides, a lot of foot traffic, and sometimes people will cough as they walk past.

Good location, right in front of the escalator. However, the food quality and service are not competitive. I often try different food chains when I travel, and this one did not meet expectations. The food was not as good as advertised, and the freshness of the vegetables and noodles was questionable. Service definitely needs improvement, especially for non-local customers. Staff should be able to explain which dishes are the signature items and why they are recommended. In my experience, the price is not worth it. Just my honest feedback for improvement.

Try not to expect too much from the cafe as it is under Central Hongkong Cafe, which isn’t known for quality fare.
We ordered the HK milk tea, which was rather diluted compared to the same drink from Tim Ho Wan or Canton Paradise. The mango pomelo sago was unremarkable and the polo bun with luncheon meat and scrambled egg tasted the best amongst the lot. Unfortunately, the slice of luncheon meat was very thin.
It’s an alright place to have a drink or snack and rest your feet but keep your expectations of the food low.

Pretty bad food overall trying to fake a Hong Kong style. Cheong fun was microwaved dry and overheated with a liquidy sauce that had not much peanut/sesame nor sweet sauce. Pineapple bun was warmed but hard pressed like a cookie. To top that, Brisket was extremely dry and the beverages were acceptable at best.

Happy Lili Cafe is located in Wisma Atrium shopping mall level 2. It is directly by the escalator (middle). The HK milk tea with pearl is so very milky and nice! The fish soup (fried fish) with choice of thick beehoon or e-mian is so awesome and tasty. Do note that there is yam in the soup should you be allergic to yam. If price is not an issue, the fish soup and milk tea are great !

The food wasn’t bad, but what really attracted me was the old Cantonese songs they played — they made me feel nostalgic. I used to listen to a lot of Cantonese songs when I was young, and every time I visit their shop, I always enjoy most of the songs they play.

I waited approximately 25 minutes for my order - only bolo bun and milk tea, despite the restaurant not being very crowded at the time. Eventually, I approached the counter to check, only to find that my order had unfortunately been overlooked.
Had I not followed up, I am unsure how much longer I would have been waiting. While I understand occasional mistakes can happen, I believe closer attention to order tracking and communication with customers would greatly improve the dining experience.
In addition, I ordered the polo bun, which I found to be below average in taste. The texture and flavor did not meet expectations, and I believe there is room for improvement in this menu item.

Just went there for lunch. Ordered a sour fish vermicelli, the portion is so small for the price of $12.80! The portion is more suitable for a young kid than for an adult!
Soup is ok with the mala pepper, there are 4 pcs of thick but tasteless fish. It claimed to be grouper but ..I m not sure!

Had a late lunch at 2:30pm. Plenty of empty seats and food is decent. Downside is the staff. The lady looked very unhappy. When I handed her the buzzer, she first just purposely ignored me even though my hand was only 10cm away from her. Then after a while she pointed at the box where ppl should put the buzzer in with an impatient expression. How hard can it be just to take over the buzzer and put it in for the customer instead?
