Walked in on a Tuesday and ended up attending the watercolor polymer clay class at Hands On Klay. Such a lovely experience! The space felt calm and welcoming, and the whole session became a quiet little escape from a hectic week. I really appreciated how Syaf guided me — she was warm, patient, and incredibly clear in her instructions, which made the whole process feel achievable even though it was my first time trying this style.
I liked that she paid attention to the small details too, offering gentle tips and checking in without being intrusive. The pace of the class was just right, and I never felt rushed. It was genuinely relaxing to sit down, focus on the colors and textures, and create something beautiful with my hands.
Highly recommend this class if you’re looking for a peaceful, therapeutic afternoon and a supportive instructor. I left feeling lighter, inspired, and proud of what I made.

I completed a heritage batik SGculture pass workshop. The instructor, Zhi Han was extremely patient. Nonetheless, I hope she will have the opportunity to learn to build her boundaries one day and say no in a professional manner to the more demanding participants in the future. The process was tiring for me as I had a long day at work. The complimentary hot tea helped a lot. There are cold drinks available too. The pace was right and we were well-guided.

Joey hosted us for the Clay Accessories workshop, she is very welcoming & taught us through the process well. My Sister in law and I used our $100 SG cultural pass and it was worth it. Joey is very experienced, she assisted when we were trying to mould the clay into shapes. Step by step she guided us through and we made our first batik earrings. Will definitely recommend Hands On Clay to everyone, there is creativity in every one of us. Look at what I made.

Came for the SG Culture Pass Batik Clay Accesories Making workshop. This workshop was very therapeutic and it felt so satisfying to see our end product after all our hard work! The venue was comfortable and beautiful. Our facilitator, Joey, was clear, patient and encouraging. We were provided with a wide selection of clay and accesories to choose from to craft our earrings. They also have tons of other workshops as well and I would love to come back!

It was an engaging session and we were able ro make 2 sets of jewellery (I did a pair of earrings and a bracelet). Syaf is a patient trainer who helps all the participants with care. Strongly recommended if you are able to spend about 2 hours to learn.

I joined the "Celebrating Singaporean Arts Through Batik Clay Work in Singapore" workshop under the SG Culture Pass, and it was such a fun experience! I got to make my own necklace, and the instructor was really patient and helpful throughout.
The best part? I got to bring the necklace home – a super meaningful and memorable birthday gift to myself! And to top it off, they surprised me with a free pair of lovely earrings when they found out it was my birthday. So sweet and thoughtful!
