Our family went for a Christmas Eve lunch as we wanted to have something Asian.
From the initial Chinese lady at front desk to the servers all were very attentive and helpful. The service given to us was excellent and with sincere ❤️
The food was very flavorful and not overwhelming. Portion wise was just enough for the price paid. Though we would have preferred if the water was FOC.
Overall we had a lovely lunch with family and will be back again for another visit. Thank you

A splendid dining experience, than the usual japanese food i am used to. 1st time trying Kamameshi. Never had this before, but it really blew me off. Rice was so perfectly cooked. We ordered off the winter menu, Matsuba snow crab and Oyster kamameshi. Crab was succulent & sweet. Oyster was added into the rice at the perfect timing without overcooking it.
Had quite a couple of special add on by Chef Adrian, he had planned some surprises which is off the menu. Corriander salad, just a simple clean corriander salad topping off with japanese vinegar, garlic chips and sakura ebi, acidity of the Japanese vinegar alleviate our appetite, the fragrant of e garlic chips with the sweetness of the sakura ebi. Simple and no horse run. Another of my favourite is mozuku seaweed. Sooo good as it is normally not easily found in restaurant locally.
Well, to Chef Adrian and team, really appreciate the attentiveness provided by the service team and also Chef Adrian, your presence to come in to explain to us on the menu, the hands-on demo of mixing up the rice with the condiments to the rice.
Will be back really soon again.
Thanks for the special sanma kamameshi that is off the menu as the season is ending and through your recommendation, trust me, it’s worth every corner of my stomach to filled.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Hanare. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and impressive.
Because I sometimes struggle with choosing from menus. I decided to ask for recommendations. It was the best decision. Every item served was perfectly curated.
The Mozuku seaweed was a standout, with flavours that paired beautifully and a uniqueness you don’t see elsewhere.
The Chicken Karaage was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. It was crispy, juicy, and very flavourful.
I also enjoyed the Crab Tempura, which had a light, delicate crunch.
The Snow Crab Kamameshi and Oyster Kamameshi were both excellent, aromatic, and filled with natural seafood sweetness.
The Sashimi Platter was another highlight, featuring thick, fresh cuts that were a true treat.
Service was warm, patient, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Chef Adrian unexpectedly brought out a birthday cake for my wife, even though we didn’t request at all. This thoughtful touch added a memorable, personal warmth to our meal.
Overall, Hanare offers top-quality dishes and a comforting dining experience. I’ll definitely return.

Had a wonderful meal at Hanare and it definitely deserves a shout-out. The quality of the dishes and the overall dining experience were impressive.
We started with the Scallop Salad, which was refreshing and beautifully balanced. The sweetness of the scallops paired perfectly with the light dressing. The Mozuku was another standout, clean and flavourful, and not something you usually see in many places.
The Sashimi Platter was excellent, with thick, fresh cuts that were satisfying in every bite. For something warm and comforting, the Snow Crab Kamameshi was amazing . It was aromatic, flavourful, and packed with natural sweetness from the crab.
For drinks, the Ume Highball was smooth and refreshing, while the Yuzushu had a bright, zesty sweetness that complemented the meal perfectly.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. A great spot for quality Japanese food. Highly recommended!

Dropped by for the lunch set on my birthday! It’s a place that specializes in premium kamameshi~ I got the Wagyu beef one to try and it was rly good! Melts in my mouth. The whole dish was pretty flavorful. Rice had fragrance of dashi and also beef! Came with appetizer (sashimi, salad, tamago), miso soup and condiments. No tea included (I added on myself).
FYI, they have private rooms here that fit 2-5 pax each. You just need a deposit of $50/pax and min spend of $60/pax which is pretty easy to hit here. Recommend to book! It’s a cozy space :)

The kamameshi is freshly made to order, so it’s very fresh and delicious. During busy hours, the wait can be a bit long, but if you come after the peak dining time, the food comes out quite fast. The staff are always very friendly, and I’ve already visited several times!

We spent more time waiting than eating. Wished they will think about cutting down on the table cooking time by using pre-cooked or half-cooked then finish cooking in the pot when the customer orders the food.
Service is good. They are pretty meticulous when serving.

The sukiyaki was delicious, especially the pork and beef. The waiting time is on the longer side, so it’s a good choice if you enjoy a slower pace. I wouldn’t recommend their unagi—it was very fishy and the ingredients didn’t seem fresh. The staff did try to address the issue, but I hope the restaurant can pay more attention to the freshness of their ingredients.

Nice atmosphere for the restaurants, staff are attentive. Food wise is good but nothing wow for me. Oden is not what I expected on the taste profile. Will give it another try next time.
