One of our favourite Guardian outlets but a few store assistants and cashiers approached tonight are unable to converse in basic English. Didn't understand words like "bathsoap" and "self checkout". Maybe there should be an automatic translator for customers to interact with staff who only speak Mandarin? Makes it less frustrating and more pleasant for both parties.

While walking underground today I came across with this pharmacy, I spoke with the guy and trying to show how to put and prep the plaster for me and the lady helped me out putting the pain patches at my back. These 2 staff are very helpful and their customer service demonstrate " excellent service and beyond" they should put more people who exhibit kindness and willing to help.

Rudest and most clueless service staff you'll ever find at a Guardian. Tried to redeem an item on yuu app. Item was clearly the correct one, Ion was not an excluded outlet, and coupon was still valid. Staff scanned and said bar code not valid and just black faced me and walked away. Cashier kept trying and told me not valid. When I told them I didn't want it anymore, the cashier was so surprised that I was cancelling my purchase. I went to another outlet after this and the cashier cleared my coupon in less than 2 minutes. So many staff at Ion but all clueless and unwilling to assist further. Terrible.

Poor customer service by their male Malay staff. Not willing to do the extra work in order for me to earn the ION points. Firstly, he didn’t to check if I am a Yuu membership. Secondly, he didn’t check with me about the ION membership. And when I remembered and waited in line again to approach him, he was not willing to help me and asked me to wait in line another time. It’s an unpleasant customer service.

Service was very good , staff was very friendly. Despite having so many customer on a Saturday, but there is only two staff in the store. But many promoters Management should consider hire more staff….. Watsons got more staff..

Visited on 2nd July 2023, made payment around 8.16pm. Very terrible staff knowledge and service, seems like they are not well informed of store affiliated matters. Not aware of Shopback vouchers at all, keep telling us that “barcode cannot scan, cannot scan, not valid”, “we do not use shopback anymore here”. This is very weird as we always use Shopback vouchers at guardian stores! We even literally just used a voucher at Ang Mo Kio outlet few days ago with zero hiccups. All the arguing caused a long queue behind us. We had to insist that the voucher CAN be used (as we have no problems using Shopback vouchers at other outlets recently). As expected, the voucher has NO problem eventually! Very frustrating trying to communicate even with the other elderly colleague - old aunty with heavy makeup. They just came up with their own “excuses” when unable to rectify the problem, it was very annoying because we know they are lying. They just probably don’t know how their own internal system work -_- Goodness.

Very bad service. The pharmacist in this outlet : Boon San, is a dishonest pharmacist. I wanted to buy a libre sensor. She at 1st said the store has 5 of them. I took 1. And went to pay. The cashier asked my mom if she is a senior as there will be a 5% discount. But when the cashier scan, there is no discount. After much checking, the promotion is buy 4 for the price of 3. So I said I will buy another 3 then. The pharmacist then suddenly said no stock.

Had a wonderful shopping experience here few times. Today I was assisted by the very helpful & friendly promoter of Nutrilife and bought some Nutrilife Skin Moist supplement. I also bought some products from Antipodes, the promoter- Ros was so helpful and very knowledgable with her upskill product knowledge, i bought the Joyous night serum & Joyful hand and body cream, she gave a free gift and some samples, very generous. Will be back ! 😊

Went to ION GUARDIAN bought some stuff and i forgot to scan my ion rewards..but when i came back to them and ask to reprint my receipt so i can scan my ion rewards and the 2 lady in the cashier 1 malay and 1 philippine said cannot reprint!and cannot scan the ion rewards.:i think they dont know about ION REWARDS points how it works..i think they need to train about how to use ion rewards points..

The worker near the derma skin care product were hideous, arrogant and have the audacity to talk behind customer back in chinese no wonder u dont have customer.. just bcoz im not chinese doesnt mean i cannot understand u.. so much different with watson which they interacted with customer even theyre not willing to..
