Affordable Korean hotpot buffet! Do note the choice selection is just average. The sides nothing special - fried chicken was dry, Korean pancake and sweet potato slices, fried mantou all very dry, japchae was decent. Tteobokki also ok. Meats available are the Chicken, beef slices, pork belly and pork slices. No seafood for lunch. Drinks are soup plum, black currant and ice water. Soup tasted nice but was super parched after the meal - no thanks to the Ajinomoto?

it was not bad. quite affordable. the quality of the food was so so. they meat was a lil mushy. though there were many soups bases to choose from, the soup tasted not flavourful enough and the collagen soup was really blend it just tasted like hot water. the seafood was fresh.

Service was better than expected. Four of us were given a table which was warm to sit after some time. We talked to the staff and the staff (Amber) decided to help us switch our place to a table next to the blowing fan- excellent service - we didn’t expect that at all. There are cooked food besides the food for steamboat. Food choices not a lot but good enough. The fried salmon fin and dessert (yam) were my favourite. The place is spacious and comfortable for a gathering.

4.1/5 ⭐ Found some great value at GoroGoro Steamboat & Korean Buffet! At $29.90++ for a Friday dinner, I'd say this place is pretty worth it just for the sheer variety of soup bases, fresh ingredients, cooked food, and condiments. Everything is decent and enjoyable, even if nothing is super fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised by the dessert selection, which had everything from beancurd skin barley ginko nut and orh nee to white fungus peach gum and fresh fruits! Service was very good at the start too, with staff constantly helping us clear our plates. (Fair warning: the soup likely contains MSG as I did get quite thirsty afterward, even without drinking much of it.) What I'd Get Again -Korean Fried Chicken -Beef Roll -Pork Belly/Collar -Mussel -Octopus What I'd Avoid -Marinated beef (is marinated with baking soda so it is soft, but too much) -Pig Liver (a bit too thin and can spoil the soup base)

A Sunday hotpot buffet at $18.90++ with a 4.4-star Google rating felt almost too good to be true, so I went in a little sceptical about the food quality and variety. Made a 1pm reservation, and when I arrived, the place was packed—even with a booking - I still had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. Each table could pick two soup bases from a selection of four or five. We went with ginseng, and it was surprisingly good—fragrant and full of flavour. The food spread wasn’t huge, but what they had was decent in quality. The meats were the usual mass-market, probably frozen stuff, but fair for the price. What really stood out was the cooked food section—way better than expected. Bonus points: soft drinks were included. The place started to quiet down by around 1:35pm. I noticed someone holding up a Vietnamese flag and going around to a few tables—looked like a tour group. Once the crowd thinned, the refill rate for the food slowed down, too. One thing to note: university students are charged student pricing. All in all, the place delivers above its price point. Just don’t walk in expecting premium fare, and you’ll leave happy.

I love it. The chicken wings are really their speciality. You gotta try that while you wait for your food to cook. There was a good balance of pre-cooked vs raw food for you to choose from.

Came here years ago, before COVID. Came again now and remembered why I haven't been back. The soup bases were weak. The choices of meats were few. The beef was very good though, but that was it. Vegetables were standard. Location is good, the price is very good. But for a bit more, other places are better, eg Shabu Sai.

I’ve probably dined here about four times by now. There’s always a wide selection of both cooked and raw food - not to mention that desserts, condiments, and drinks are all included in the buffet price. The service is great, and dining here has always been an enjoyable experience. I’d definitely come more often if it weren’t located in such a busy downtown area. LOL.

First time patron this restaurant with family. The food are fairly priced. Lots of varieties, from cooked, raw to condiments. The environment is just nice for steamboat as the aircon just nice. I love the fried Korean chicken wings. Recommend for someone who looks for alternative of high priced steamboat.
