I must first and foremost declare that, as one of Channel NewsAsia's on-air journalists, I am sponsored by Fox Studio.
But I am reviewing the work of bosses Jeremy and Sandra in my personal capacity as a satisfied customer, since I am now posted overseas and have to look for my own stylists.
My haircut needs have always been simple and consistent: That the hairstyle is easy to maintain and suits my face and lifestyle.
So all my life, I have had short haircuts - on days when I'm out for triathlon races or training sessions, I don't have to style my hair, and on days when I need to look professional, all I have to do is spike up my hair.
But thanks to Jeremy, I don't always have boring hairstyles.
I have sported a range of hairstyles that were trendy and easy-to-maintain: Including growing out my hair and having it permed, which gave it volume and body even when I'm sweating and running a marathon.
Jeremy is very consultative - which is a quality I appreciate in hairstylists because he is not afraid to counter-propose suggestions which he thinks is best.

I wanted to change my current look so I decided to dye my hair pink. The results I got from Fox Studio was stunning and I can’t be more satisfied with my hair. I definitely feel like the wind was constantly blowing in my hair after my visit. Did I mention the service is super high-end too? I would like to thank Sandra for my new haircut. Superb haircut skill by her! I really love my new look so much. I have never cut short hair before as I always thought that my face shape is not suitable. When I began in the theatre and fashion industries in Singapore, the pool of professional make-up and hairdressing talent in Singapore was small, select and filled with total rockstars - if they did not know you or rave about you, you probably would not get more than a look-over... I am proud to say they have all remained my friends since that time, always encouraging and nurturing me professionally.
Now that I have returned to broadcast media, Sandra is the Boss of my hair.
I have no instructions, needs or wants... she takes care of everything from designing the cut and wear, colour and care.

Plus I get stopped regularly on the street all around the world (from Istanbul, all across Japan to London to Down Under in Tasmania and South Island in NZ) with compliments on my hair cut or colour - even today BEFORE my appointment, at the Customs Dept in Singapore hahaha
Jeremy’s cutting technique is different to Sandra’s but they are both sharp on colour and cut so you always look like the best (modern and alive) version of yourself, not simply the person who got a new hair cut.
They both listen to their customers, and care deeply about how the customers feel about their individual hairstyles... that makes all the difference in the world!
