Horrible service and food from Food Opera Korean food stall. Just look at the ridiculous small amount of food they gave for the $9 Chicken and Pork set. Ridiculous! When I asked them why so little the cook is extremely rude and said yup that’s the amount we give and it doesn’t mean that you order more expensive double meat set we give you more meat! What horrid service and we will never patronize this stall again.

Had Lixin Teochew Fishball Noodle (4/5) and Gindaco Takoyaki (3/5). There were many other food options here, food court are air conditioned while hawker centres are not so if you want somewhere comfortable, you know where to go.
Order the signature noodles from Lixin Teochew Fishball Noodle, which had a queue. Came with 3 Fishballs, 4 Fishcakes, 2 Dumplings and a bowl of noodles with pollards. Fishballs were indeed springy but I did find it the aftertaste slightly fishy. Noodles were blanched nicely and tossed with chilli. The crispy pork lard added a nice texture with the chewy noodles. (Wish there were more pork lards 🤣) Flavour were on the saltier side so if you are not a fan, you might want to skip this.
Ordered the Takoyaki with half a pint of beer for $12. Takoyaki had a soft, chewy and gooey interior with a small piece of octopus. However batter was on the saltier side and the exterior was not crispy but hard, likely overcooked or left there too long.

We didn’t get to go around and really choose where to eat as it was really crowded. We had to share a table with other people just so we can sit. Service was quick at the food shop, but there was clutter all over the dining space and the buss/tray station. Was really looking forward great Hainanese chicken and we over ordered by getting 2 platters instead of 1, but it the chicken was cold and bland - we barely got through one platter :(

I decided to forgo my favourite fishball noodles today due to the long q and went for rojak, popiah & dessert. The service was not as friendly as before. The staff at the dessert stall was not helpful nor patient (and there is no Q behind me) when I enquirer about the dessert. Same with popiah stall, I asked to omit an item and the reply was curt. Perhaps all these is to simulate the old days where one has to tolerate bad service to taste good food ( it was just mediocre)? I am disappointed.
