Tried this new type of dessert and drinks for the first time! Highly recommend their signature fermented rice drink—it’s tasty and especially beneficial for women. The ice cream is also amazing, combining fermented rice with rose-flavored ice cream for a unique and delicious treat. Definitely a must-try!

My family and I absolutely love this handmade rice wine! 🍶 The taste is incredible – smooth, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness. We all enjoy it so much, from my kids to the adults. It’s natural and light, with no added preservatives or sugar, so I feel good about drinking it. It’s perfect before a meal to kickstart the appetite or after to help with digestion. We all agree – it’s definitely become a family favorite! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious, healthy drink! 🙌

Honestly, this is the first time I’ve bought rice wine, as my mum usually makes it for us. Initially, I was drawn to the bottle and its beautiful color. Then, a staff member approached me and let me try both the original and rose flavors. I liked both, they’re lighter and easier to drink compared to my mum’s style. The packaging is also lovely, making it a great option for souvenirs or gifts for friends.

Tried the signature osmanthus ice dew. It’s nicely fermented. Light touch of the rice wine taste and with a hint of the osmanthus flavours developed from the flower itself. The glutinous rice tastes soft. Just like the traditional way. The brewed coconut milk jelly is great. The bottom is with condensed coconut milk base and topped with fresh coconut juice jelly. Which doesn’t have strong rice wine taste and it’s not too sweet. The rice ball is well cooked and it’s okay. The only portion that creates a hint of the rice wine is from the fermented glutinous rice. Staff is very friendly, very cheerful and helping to introduce the best in the store.

Rare find in Singapore. I prefer having the fermented rice drink without milk as the drink itself is rather diluted. I personally wished that it can be stronger. I have tried similar fermented rice in Taiwan and the taste is far from it. Still a good try in SG.

A friend had introduced me to this new kind of dessert and I was plesantly surprised at how subtle and tasty they were. Although it was probably on the pricier side, I enjoyed the novelty of this fusion of traditional chinese rice wine with cakes and shaved ice. Would recommend having them fresh and not overnight as the mochi tends to harden or tang yuan 'melt' into the soup due to the thin skin. The drinks could have a little less ice to avoid diluting the subtle fragrance too much, but overall not bad!

To my surprise, I chanced upon a shop selling traditional fermented rice drinks in orchard gateway. The friendly lady at the counter offered a sample of their rice wine drink, which was pleasantly sweet, carbonated, and reminded me of the glutinous rice wine my late granny used to make. I had a rice drink with osmanthus and chewy mochi balls for takeaway, it was not too sweet and the fermented rice inside offered a nice chalky bite. Also got one of those rice drinks in a small tub. To my surprise (again), the lady packed the tub into a small cooler bag with an ice pack (thought it'd just be in a plastic bag); and before I went off, the lady gave me a cute little Christmas bear (yes, to my surprise again). Love their rice drinks! Will be back for more surprises.
