I just found out that Chateraise's ice creams are good! I tried two: salted caramel ice cream cookie sandwich and berry ice cream macaroon. Oh my God, the macaroon is definitely my favorite. You should try it too!

Buy ice cream costing 2.70 from them and then peel off the top of the ice cream cone and ask them to help me throw away the lid, instead of taking, proceeds to ask me go awfully chocolate there have rubbish bin. Lousy customer service.

Cool little Japanese cake shop. The sweets are immaculately presented and tasted as good as they looked. They also have a nice range of Japanese ice creams for a good price. Typical Japanese quality and attention to detail. Visited many times during our stay in Singapore.

My family has always enjoyed cakes from Chateraise. Today, I was at the ION Orchard branch to buy a cake to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The lady at the cashier curtly asked if I wanted a plastic bag. I said yes. I was told it's chargeable. I then asked what's the rationale was, since usually this practice is at establishments such as supermarkets where lots of plastic bags are used. She just replied crudely that it's just a shop policy. Then she turned away and ignored me. I was the only one in the shop. Firstly, I don't understand this practice by a cake shop. Even neighborhood bread shops don't practice this. Secondly, the staff can be more courteous when replying to my queries and feedback. First rude staff I've encountered at a Chateraise store.

They have only few varieties of cake but it’s very good. Easy to order . Even you can order one day before the occasion.
