Absolutely loved this café! The ambience was super adorable, everything was decked out in festive Christmas vibes, and it instantly put me in a good mood. The service was fast and attentive, and I loved how quickly they refilled the water. I tried the mentaiko pasta; it was a little on the fishy side for me, but the strawberry shortcake was a total showstopper, definitely a must-order! I would highly recommend their desserts. Their red wine was surprisingly good for a café too, which was a pleasant bonus. What really made the place stand out was the cosy, charming vibe. It’s such a lovely spot, especially perfect for couple dates. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the wait time for payment, but honestly, the overall experience still felt great. I’m already thinking about coming back to try their sando sandwiches next time. Loved this place!

Visited on 20th Oct 2025 We went there for their hi-tea set! Yet, it’s available from 12:00, it’s more like our lunch than teatime. 4 of us were hungry, so 1 tea set & 2 main dishes. The tea set came with selections of tea & coffee. Tea in pot can be refilled, coffee only 1 time serving. The omi-rice & the spaghetti are quite standard. Taste good. The tea set is well-decorated, there are sandwiches hidden under the “stairs”. The fruit tea was sweet, not sour. Compare to Ma Maison restaurant, I think the menu selections are less, yet it doesn’t affect their dessert selections! You can still find many cakes & fruit tarts in their fridge. Like the Halloween decoration of the cafe.

This has long been my favourite go-to place for Ebi Sando — the classic Japanese sandwich with a panko-crumbed, deep-fried shrimp cutlet between slices of soft, fluffy milk bread. Up till perhaps 1.5 to 2 years ago, the Ebi Sando quality was excellent. The bread had a refined, handcrafted shape, the texture balanced softness and toasted crispness perfectly, and the filling was always arranged with care. However, the preparation has clearly changed. These days, it feels like half-toasted bread with a loosely assembled filling that doesn’t hold together — yet it’s still sold as a Sando at $21.34. The ebi patty itself remains good, but at this quality level, the price feels hard to justify. The accompanying fries were also rather ordinary and not crispy. I had previously refrained from posting a review, but after three visits with no improvement, I felt it would be unhelpful to stay silent for other repeat diners. To be fair, the other menu items looked decent (though I didn’t try them), and the café still has a lovely ambience and vibe. In contrast, the chocolate strawberry cake I pre-ordered was excellent. The soft cake, layered with cream and topped with strawberries, came together beautifully. At first, I thought there was too much cream, but the rich chocolate cream turned out to be the very ingredient that made the cake irresistible — the only thing stopping me from a second slice was how full I already was. That’s why I’m still rating it 4 stars.

While the desserts here appear expensive, they are carefully handcrafted , not too sweet and delicious . The banana popcorn caramel cake pie is a must . The crust was a bit hard and thick but the rest of the pie was lovely with a soft sponge, aromatic and smooth vanilla custard and thick cut fresh bananas. Hope they put this on their permanent menu ( but please improve the base of the pie ). The mains are overly priced and limited in variety so do avoid .

Got the grape tart and pancakes. The grape tart was amazing. The flavour of the tart was perfect and the texture was also really good. The grapes tasted good and it's pretty worth it for the price. As for the pancakes, take note that they are pretty big!!! They tasted ok but it was nothing amazing. Highly recommend trying the tarts at this place.
