Bobmi’s Sambal Yinyang noodles hit the spot—springy, full of flavour and packed with a fiery kick that brings the heat. If you’re really into spice, you can challenge yourself with their Sambal Volcano! As for the cheesy bun, it’s a soft mantou topped with melted cheese. Not bad at all.

The bobmie is good. nothing super special, just nice. Not the best Indonesian style mie, but when you mix it with sambal and all the toppings, it’s pretty solid. The only thing is the interior design the bright red and yellow colors are a bit too much for me. I can’t really sit there for more than 5 minutes. Overall, it’s good. Hopefully, the owner can keep improving the quality and taste of the food. Happy to see more Indonesian businesses popping up in Singapore!

Came here for lunch with my Indonesian colleagues, and we could immediately tell that this place serves authentic Indonesian noodles and sambal options. 🍜 Bakmie Noodles We tried two types — Bakmie with Sambal Cabe Ijo & the other is Bakmi Sambal Geprek. The noodles were super chewy and bouncy — had a great bite and a bit of a slick texture from the oil (used to prevent them from sticking together). The minced meat on top was flavourful, and they added some crispy shallots for that aromatic crunch. For the portion size and quality, it was honestly a legit deal — it comes as a full set too. 🌶️ Sambal The sambals were very authentic — spicy in all the right ways. The clear soup on the side comes with additional shallots if you like (free of charge and free-flow), which was a nice touch. 🍚 Rice Option We also ordered one of their rice dishes — came with chicken that was falling off the bone. Super tender and satisfying. ☕ Drinks They serve Indonesian-style coffee and lattes, priced between $3.50–$5. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I could definitely tell it was authentic and brewed properly. 💬 Overall: This place feels like a true Indonesian gem — the flavours are on point and super legit. Price point is around $8.50 and up, which is reasonable for the quality and portions. I’d definitely come back for the taste and comforting vibes.

I happened to see Chef Bob's Bobmi at Lucky Plaza, and decided to try. I like their Bobmie Yin-Yang cos it comes with two types of sambal! Enjoyed this comforting meal, especially in this rainy weather. 😄 …

Me & my partner decided to try out bobmi, since we are in the orchard area. While the food is acceptable in taste. Quiet tone down environment but the service quality was not there. Place our order at 15:57 and at 16:20, we went to check our order (staff were chit chatting), we were the only customer in, the staff did apologise to us, after realising that we didn’t even get our drinks. Staff told us that the receipt could have flown away. Even though they were quick to get our order ready. But we felt that staff should have check with us, asking what are we waiting for /etc. Service could have been better.

Ordered Volcano Rice and Sambal Ijo Noodles for breaking of fast. Food = tasty. Spice level is not for the faint of hearts. Will eat there again most definitely.

Decent Indonesian Chicken Noodles. Ordered bobmi sambal geprek and bobmi sambal ijo with add-on meatballs to go. Chicken noodles were pretty delicious and flavorful though not the best I had in Singapore. Taken out a star because they forgotten to put in any sambal on our order as shown on photos. We wanted to try their sambal, and also there was a price difference with or without sambal so it was quite disappointing for us. Only taken out a star because we understand that it was newly opened at the time of visit (15 Feb 2025) so mistakes usually happens often. Will give them a chance and try again next time I’m in the area.

Visited late afternoon yesterday and was welcomed by a cheerful lady who introduced us the menu! The food did not disappoint and the price was quite affordable (<15 for a complete meal, <8.50 w/o add ons & drink). Will definitely come here again and share this place with my friends!

The food was excellent, the noodles were al dente, the chicken cutlet was perfectly fried and not oily. The Avocado Latte had a perfect balance of avocado and coffee flavours. Its one of the better avocado lattes out there. The single staff there was super friendly and excited to serve us which makes the experience way better then expected. Would definitely recommend to come down and try.
