The shop is located next to the food court area. Quite a selection of pastries as well as their famous pandan chiffon cake, which comes in a whole box or 4 slices packed individually. I would definitely recommend to get a whole box cause it is so good that I could finish half of it easily. As for other pastries I have no opinions as I always only go for the chiffon cafe and cheese cake.

Good place for Peranakan kuehs and cookies. Always recommend my oversea clients here to buy them. A lot of them love the Pandan chiffon cake.

Wonderful pandan chiffon cake, this outlet also has fresher items than others, since it’s in a busier area. Love their kueh as well.

Always good quality peranakan pastry. Good location in Orchard. They definitely good quality but getting pricy. Picked up the Pandan cake in T4 before head out of country as duty free.

Pandas cheese cake was not too sweet, the taste was very nice! Worth a try. 🫶🏽

Singapore local bakery well known of panda roll, pandan dessert, coconut cake and pineapple tart. The cheese pandan is a must buy item for souvenirs.

Bengawan Solo is a brand I’ve always associated with homely snacks and warm service, and I’ve had great experiences with some of the aunties at other outlets who are really nice. Unfortunately, my visit to the ION Orchard outlet was a letdown. The cashier had an unfriendly attitude—when I asked for a paper bag for my pandan cake to gift to friends overseas, she threw the receipt and handled my items roughly. It really ruined my afternoon. I hope management can provide customer service training to maintain the brand’s usual standards.

Dishonesty!!!! First, I asked the staff how long the pandan cake can be stored, and she answered that cake can be store as long as possible like one month if it is refrigerated. And I saw the expiry date on the packaging which stated 13/11/24! Secondly, I told the staff that I would like to buy it in airport, and the staff assured me that the price in their store and that in the airport was exactly the same! Later I went to the airport store and checked the price, it was obviously a lie since the price tag in the airport was without GST!
