Dishonesty!!!! First, I asked the staff how long the pandan cake can be stored, and she answered that cake can be store as long as possible like one month if it is refrigerated. And I saw the expiry date on the packaging which stated 13/11/24! Secondly, I told the staff that I would like to buy it in airport, and the staff assured me that the price in their store and that in the airport was exactly the same! Later I went to the airport store and checked the price, it was obviously a lie since the price tag in the airport was without GST!

Irreproachable...... irreproachable bad service and attitude, that is. Refused to entertain my wife who was asking enquiring on some items. Turned away after just two questions, assuming there will not be a sale.
With this attitude from both the service staff on duty, definitely will not get any sales from me. Looks like they survived well these 2 years.
Seems like poor service attitude has been a consistent trait at this outlet and that has brought down our good impression of Bengawan Solo.

Poor Service during the payment, the shop keeper just show poker face and throw our ordered foods on the counter table. What is that!!! Bad experience on this shop. After reading so many good review about the delicious confectionery, feel so disappointed! Please improve the service level. Thank you
Celine
Poor service. There were 3 staff chatting behind the counter. When I told them I wanted to order a cake, one of them passed me a cake menu and a order form to fill it up, then she just walked away to continue chatting. I had to get their attention again when I completed what I could in the form (Was unsure of some fields), and instead of coming over, the first staff told another staff to come help me. I was the only customer in the store the whole time.

The shop is located next to the food court area. Quite a selection of pastries as well as their famous pandan chiffon cake, which comes in a whole box or 4 slices packed individually. I would definitely recommend to get a whole box cause it is so good that I could finish half of it easily. As for other pastries I have no opinions as I always only go for the chiffon cafe and cheese cake.

Good place for Peranakan kuehs and cookies. Always recommend my oversea clients here to buy them. A lot of them love the Pandan chiffon cake.

Wonderful pandan chiffon cake, this outlet also has fresher items than others, since itβs in a busier area. Love their kueh as well.

Good location in Orchard.
They definitely good quality but getting pricy.
