I couldn't eat well, the kitchen was so noisy, and the boys were shouting and swearing in the kitchen. I saw these two boys. One was outside, the other was in the kitchen. They were truly mannerless staff. What does mean "MAKAN MODAL” ? May I know why they were saying those words when customers came in?
Overall, the staff needs training. This is really rude. How should work in a restaurant? How should I deal with customers. disappointed

Terrible Experience – Completely Unacceptable Service
I am extremely disappointed with my recent food delivery experience. I placed an order for a group of 7 people, only to have the delivery man arrive with the wrong order—meant for just 2 people. Instead of resolving the issue, he blamed the restaurant, while the restaurant pointed fingers at him for taking the wrong order.
To make matters worse, the delivery man insisted I accept the wrong order, which was obviously insufficient. Then the restaurant had the audacity to call me and expect me to contact the delivery man myself to sort out the mess. What kind of service is this?
This is an absolute failure of communication and accountability on both ends. I wasted my time, my money, and my patience. I will not be using their delivery service again and would caution others to avoid such chaos. I have dined at their place a few times and they do serve really good food. The delivery service is just atrocious.

Today was the first time visiting this outlet.
I ordered the Oxtail Soup and Chicken Noodle soup.
The oxtail was really great and the meat was extremely tender and easy to chew.
The chicken noodle soup was also good, but not on par with the oxtail soup.
As it was a Sunday afternoon in Lucky Plaza, the cafe was crowded and hence why it got a 3 star rating for atmosphere.

Came back to Ayam Penyet President at Lucky Plaza, and it’s still just as good as I remembered! The Indonesian cuisine here is consistently delicious and satisfying.
I had the ayam penyet, which was crispy and juicy, with their signature spicy sambal. The ayam bakar was tender, smoky, and full of flavor. I also tried the boneless fried milkfish (bangus)—crispy outside, soft and flavorful inside. The satay was perfectly grilled with rich peanut sauce, and the beef was incredibly tender and tasty.
To top it off, the desserts were surprisingly good, a sweet way to end a hearty meal. The portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the food always hits the spot.
Definitely one of my favorite go-to spots for authentic and affordable Indonesian food in Orchard. Truly enjoyed my makan here—again!

Found a hidden gem in Orchard with affordable and hearty meals! The portions are huge which makes it perfect for sharing. The food came out within minutes of ordering. The chili was definitely on the spicier side for me, but it packs a nice punch for those who like some heat. While the place has a bit of an old-school, run-down vibe but the quick service and budget-friendly food make up for it.
