Unprofessional Tour Leader – Waste of Time and Money!
I regretted joining this tour, Northern Xinjiang (6 to 20 Jun 2025) as it was easily the worst travel experience I’ve ever had—all thanks to our incompetent and unprofessional tour leader. From the very beginning, it was clear she had no intention of prioritizing the group, and her poor planning, lack of communication, and selfish behavior ruined what should have been a great trip.
### 1. Ignored Customers’ Needs
Multiple times, members of our group raised concerns or special requests (dietary restrictions, type of accommodation, etc.), but she either brushed them off or gave vague, unhelpful responses. It felt like we were an afterthought rather than paying customers.
### 2. Disorganized & Terrible Communication
The itinerary was not well thought through, last minute changes with no clear instructions. We were often left confused about meeting times, locations, and even transportation. Instead of guiding us smoothly, she created unnecessary stress with her last-minute changes and lack of clarity.
### 3. More Focused on Shopping Than Leading the Tour
While we were rushed through actual attractions, she would disappear into stores for her own shopping, leaving the group waiting. A tour leader’s job is to manage the experience, not waste everyone’s time on personal errands!
### 4. Failed at Basic Responsibilities
She was unprepared, unprofessional, and unreliable- whether it was coordinating logistics, providing useful information, or even keeping track of group members. The lowest point? She missed her own flight causing major delays and disruptions. How can someone in charge be so irresponsible?
### 5. Unbalanced Itinerary
The schedule was poorly designed—too much time wasted on unimportant stops, while key attractions were rushed through. It felt like no effort was put into making the trip enjoyable or worthwhile.
### 6. Overpriced for a Private Tour
Despite the high price of the package, we received subpar accommodations in some instances, mediocre meals, and zero value for money. With such poor planning and awful leadership, this tour was a complete rip-off.
### Final Verdict: Avoid at All Costs!
This tour leader was unqualified, selfish, and utterly careless, making what should have been a memorable trip into a frustrating, expensive disaster. Save your money and book with a real professional instead! One star.

Our group of friends and I traveled with Atis Global Travel to Zhangjiajie, Da Nang (Vietnam), and recently concluded a trip to Hanoi and Ha Du Bay.
Throughout the trip, the owner, Angel, meticulously planned everything for us, from the itinerary and dining options to the accommodations.
What touched us even more was her proactive WhatsApp messages throughout the trip, personally inquiring about our satisfaction with the tour guide services, meals, and accommodations. She truly is a caring owner who looks after her group members.
We've already asked her to arrange our next trip to Chongqing, and everyone is eagerly anticipating it!

The itinerary was quite packed, perhaps due to the vastness of the area, but it also allowed us to visit a considerable number of attractions.
The accommodations were comfortable, and the local meals were very distinctive. The tour guide was very patient and provided detailed explanations. The driver was also very responsible, and his safe driving was reassuring.
The entire group enjoyed the trip, showing consideration for one another... It was a wonderful journey.

My 10-day in-depth tour of Northern Xinjiang with Atis Global Pte Ltd was a wonderful experience! The price was affordable, yet the itinerary was luxurious and comfortable. 👍 The accommodations, meals, and transportation were all excellent. The free Wi-Fi on the tour bus was a welcome touch, especially in the vast Northern Xinjiang region. I must give this trip a thumbs up! 👍💖 I look forward to traveling with them again! 😘

We have been using Atis Global for customized family trip since 2013. Done Tasmania, Cairns, Phu Quoc, Khao Yai, Khao Kho, Chiang Mai, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Sapa and Northern XinJiang. All the trips has been enjoyable. Prices quoted, I would say fair as it includes the so call optional trips that others charges and all meals are inclusive. Accommodations chosen are also reasonably good.
The recent trip in Northern XinJiang for Year 2025, the local tour manager who led us even bought disposable rain ponchos for all guests. At certain places, she even buy some local fruits for her guests to sample.
These small gestures are appreciated by most of the guests.
Will certainly go back to them if we are doing customized trip again.
