An Açaí Affair at 313 Somerset introduces the Brazilian superfood açaí berry through açaí bowls and smoothies offering nutritious, Instagram-worthy breakfast and snack options. Açaí berries, native to Amazon rainforest, have gained international popularity as superfood due to high antioxidant content, healthy fats, fiber, and various vitamins and minerals supporting overall wellness. The signature açaí bowls feature frozen açaí berry puree blended into thick, smooth base similar to sorbet consistency, topped with fresh fruits like bananas, strawberries, and blueberries, plus granola providing crunch, and drizzles of honey or nut butters adding sweetness and additional nutrients. The customization options allow creating personalized bowls with various toppings including coconut flakes, chia seeds, cacao nibs, and other superfoods enhancing nutrition and flavor. The bowls serve as satisfying breakfast, post-workout nutrition, or afternoon snacks providing sustained energy without heavy feeling. Smoothies offer drinkable alternatives combining açaí with other fruits and superfood additions. The vibrant purple color of açaí creates visually striking presentations perfect for social media sharing, contributing to açaí bowl trend's popularity. The health-conscious positioning attracts fitness enthusiasts, health-focused consumers, and trend-aware diners seeking nutritious options in mall food courts typically dominated by less healthy choices. The casual counter-service format allows quick ordering and consumption fitting into busy schedules. For those seeking nutritious, delicious alternatives to conventional fast food or desserts, An Açaí Affair delivers Brazilian superfood bowls that nourish body while satisfying taste buds and aesthetic expectations.
Acai base was a bit icy and clumpy — which is fine IF the toppings were fresher. I’m not a particularly picky person, but the fruits (esp the softer, wet ones) does not taste fresh and the cereal they used taste funny. The mix of toppings just doesn’t seem to work… Still prefer project acai (fresher).

First time patronising Acai Affair and I was completely appalled at the way dry chia seeds are sprinkled over other toppings in the Acai bowl. Yall will cause serious digestive issues in people if you keep this up. Chia seeds are not meant to be consumed dry, no matter how trendy it is to add chia seeds dry into Acai bowls. They need to be soaked in water or they will stick to your guts. This is really dangerous. I hope you can reconsider your recipes.

• Visited Açai on July 6, 2025, at 9:20 PM and had a disappointing experience by two ladies at the counter(It you’re not open then just say so !)
• Asked if the restaurant was still open; staff confirmed it was but displayed unwelcoming and distasteful expressions.
• Inquired about sauce varieties and sugar content; staff seemed unprepared and lacked basic menu knowledge.
• Staff member shouted to a colleague for clarification, which was unprofessional and disruptive.
• Suggestion: Implement a pre-closing time to manage customer expectations and avoid disappointing paying customers.

Refreshing and delicious açai bowls! ❄️ The base is smooth and creamy, topped with fresh fruits, granola, and nuts—perfect for Singapore’s hot weather.
Tried the Triple A (creamy, filling, with peanut butter & granola) and Love Me Lychee (light, fruity, and refreshing). Both are amazing, healthy, and super satisfying.
Beautiful presentation too—great for photos! 📸 Hi

Both of my cards didn’t go through for payment. Cashier thinks my card(s) have problem. Then my partner tried his card and didn’t go through too. Cashier is finally convinced it’s the machine problem. I appreciate that cashier apologized.
