Part-time Gym Counter staff

We are seeking committed and responsible Part-Time Gym Counter Staff to support the daily operations of our gym facilities. The role focuses on ensuring a safe, well-managed, and professional training environment for all users.

Key Responsibilities

Counter staff are responsible for the safe, efficient, and orderly operation of the gym. Their duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Report for duty at least 15 minutes before shift hours to ensure the gym is fully prepared for use.
• Ensure all users are dressed in appropriate sports attire, including covered sports shoes, and carry individual gym towels.
• Enforce compliance with all gym rules and usage regulations.
• Prevent unauthorised entry and misuse of the facility.
• Attend to enquiries from members of the public professionally and courteously.
• Manage member check-ins/outs and assist with crowd control when necessary.
• Identify and report equipment defects and liaise with servicing personnel as directed by management.
• Report any facility-related defects promptly to the facilities management office.
• Maintain the first-aid kit, including checking for expired items and arranging for restocking when required.
• Ensure users re-rack weights after use; where necessary, re-rack any unattended or stray weights to minimise tripping and safety hazards.
• Ensure all entrances and exits are properly secured before the end of the shift.

Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Singaporean adults who are medically and physically fit.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service.
• Minimum ‘O’ Level academic qualification.
• Valid Standard First Aid certification with CPR and AED.
• Experience working in gym settings is a plus.
