Tried their nasi padang for the first time. Just located outside the loft at Level 5.
Beef rendang is tender and not too spicy. Fried plain brinjal is tasty even though it doesn’t have any gravy. Chose the non spicy curry gravy so it adds flavour to the rice.
Best teh tarik I have drank! Proportion of tea and milk is perfect so you can taste the fragrance of the tea.
Affordable pricing for food around town area. Friendly makcik and pakcik! 👍 Has a homely vibe!

This small eatery is manned by very friendly and nice people. Food was delicious like home cooked, not too salty or sweet. The kuehs also looked like they did not contain any artificial colourings.

Second visit on Feb was as good as first visit. Ordered Nasi Padang with 4 ingredients : beef rendang, sayur lodeh, sambal goreng, talor mata lembu with 2 hot spicy sauces; sambal tumis & sambal belachan. Attached picture.
My first time here on 2023/01/07 about 2:45 pm. Late lunch. A strong repeat despite the price, it is in the touristy Orchard area so understandably a tad pricey. However fair portions of the Nasi padang. Lets see what I wrote earlier to my friends …
“ Btw the nasi padang I had was really good. Prices have gone up but it was nice for $8.70 with nice portion of beef redang, sayoh lodeng with soft tau kwa & teloh matar lembu on nice steaming hot soft rice with sambal tomis & sambal belchan 9/10 rating. “
Yup a solid 9/10 score. And the Sago Meleka also unmistakeable a rock solid 9.5/10 rating. Bought 2 more for takeaway, that’s how good it was 👍🏼😃

When I m in town love to have their nasi padang. Always crowded during lunch time but will still jostle for a spot for their delicious dishes. And today is tea time also another fav time when their ripe sweet pisang goreng is ready. Batter is perfect so is the pisang . Yum

Level 5 of Far East Plaza, this nasi padang spot is a real gem. The variety of dishes is solid, but the star of the show is definitely their lemak chilli padi—creamy, spicy, and packed with flavour. It hits that perfect balance of heat and richness that keeps you coming back. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. A must-visit if you're craving hearty, authentic Malay food in town. Just be prepared to queue during lunch hours!

Love the friendly reception and introduction to all the traditional Malay food that they have.
Special mention to delicious Tahu Goreng - full of flavour, lots of peanuts, wonderful not so sweet satay sauce and well done tahu!
Also traditional abok abok sago wrapped in banana leaves can be found here!
Highly recommend.

I love Nasi Padang. Friend recommended me this place but it’s not up to my preference! Ayam Merah was too sweet, Tahu goreng was too sweet, the beansprout felt so raw.

Authentic and delicious Malay food located within Far East Plaza. The food choices all looked so good. If my stomach will allow it, I would have ordered everything. Ayam masak Lemak was really one of my favourite. The chicken was so soft and fork tender. The sambal goreng wasn’t overly spicy and was seasoned very well. Lontong was really good as well. Just enough lemak with a drop of sambal on the top. They were generous with the ingredients for the dishes.
A true gem in Orchard Area with reasonably priced food.
