I really love the Chau siu bun, the food is fresh and delicious! It is a perfect combo with a nice hot milk tea on the side. If you want to dine in, best to come earlier as the place is small and seats fill up quick. When you takeout a drink, there’s a nice handle attached to the cup making it much easier to hold. I would recommend trying this place out, I ended up coming back a couple times to try out other buns.

YaKun Kaya Toast never disappoints. The food tastes great as always—simple, comforting, and consistently satisfying. The staff are polite and welcoming, which makes the experience even more pleasant, and the service is impressively fast. It’s the kind of place you can rely on for a delicious, fuss-free meal every time.

Definitely a sanctuary in the middle of Orchard road. Perfect spot to take a break. They were so accommodating to my vegan lifestyle. Will be back for sure! This is going to be my favourite Ya Kun.

Had my tea break here at Ya Kun @ 313 Somerset outlet. The space was quite cramped and seating area rather small and limited. The tables could also be cleaner esp if customers were to do tray return, at least staff can help to clean for the next paying customers. Coffee, as always, was rich and aromatic ☕️ Instant energy booster! Ordered the steamed bread with soft-boiled eggs set which was less messy than the toasted one! Waited for about 10-15 mins before the food is ready. Sat here for a while to chill. I mean it’s still a good spot for a quick coffee break despite the limited space.

Back from Melbourne for a holiday and had to make pit stop at Yakun mid shopping at 313@somerset today. Best teh o peng I’ve had since coming home! No bitterness (at all) and not too sweet! Kopi was 👌🏼 as well! Compliments to Liang, the brewer of the drinks. Half boiled eggs were perfectly prepared as was the kaya toast and steam bread with peanut butter! Best Yakun we’ve had since we’ve been back 🇸🇬 Highly recommend a trip to 313@somerset Yakun if you’re in the area!

Outside the entrance of 313@Somerset facing Somerset road. Ordered a Kopi C Kosong ice to go, it was good. Strong enough, aromatic, not bitter.

We visited for the afternoon tea set at $4.80, which included a Pandan kaya cake and a Milo/coffee. A staff member, Danny, kindly reserved the last Pandan kaya cake for me when I noticed there were only two slices left. When I returned with my family, he promptly prepared it as promised. The coffee and Milo were especially well made, better than at other outlets. We will definitely visit again.

So, my friend and I wanted to share one order of kaya toast, comprising of two slices of kaya toast. I don’t take butter, but my friend does. So I asked for one piece of toast to be without butter, but one with. The cashier has already keyed it in, but his colleague, Jojo, decided to be a senior karen and told the cashier “this should not be done. both pieces should be the same order”. And so, this is how we waste two perfectly usable slices of butter.
