this is their strawberry matcha latte ($8.50)!! i was NOT expecting such a good matcha from this pop up!!! by default, they used oatside oat milk, so i think it’s quite a steal?? (cuz no top up required) the matcha itself didn’t seem sweetened (i think), and mixes so nicely with the oat milk. it’s my first time having oat milk in my matcha, and I SEE THE LIGHT MAN. it’s SO good!! i might be influenced to pay +$1 at other shops now… 🤧
the strawberry has a good texture to it too 🔥 it’s really sweet so it was 👍🏻👍🏻 combined with the matcha!
(update: been back a few times but the taste of their strawberry matcha latte hasn’t matched up to the first time i came here 🥲)

What a drastic price increase. Someone posted 3 months back ($5.60). Today I paid $8.50
4 star for the ice cream
9 star for the mochi
Had the 100% matcha. Not complaining but not overly impressed. Had better one (somewhere) in japan).
But if u are in SG, this is one of the better ones u cant find elsewhere in SG.
But the mochi that came with it was rly rly bad. Its like some kind of frozen mochi. It was hard. Not soft and chewy as how it is supposed to be.

Server / cashier has zero product knowledge and zero hospitality. Using a self serve kiosk or ipad would be better. Matcha ice cream comes in a very small tub for $8. Taste is decent, but it’s too expensive since it’s basically like buying a tub of ice cream from 7-11.

Chanced upon this cafe as I just wanted to find a quiet spot to sit down and do some work. The staffs there are very friendly, and I asked for recommendation from the menu. Ordered the Matcha Canele and Plain Canele and they are not too sweet. The yuza pea flower soda was not bad too. Would love to come back here and try their matcha..

Wanted to order a hot matcha latte but the young man who attended me explained they only serve cold matcha drinks as making it hot will burn the matcha. Thanks for explaining. Also, noticing that I was sniffing, he kindly offered me a glass of water.

Do not buy the matcha latte. I didn't realise we only had the option of oatmilk or farmhouse UHT milk until the server was making it. There was barely any matcha taste, and the milk taste was so horrible it overwhelmed everything. Wasted $7.90.
The matcha and houjicha canele on the other hand, I would repurchase. It's full of flavour, moist, slightly chewy and soft.

The matcha strawberry (9.5) uses fresh strawberries, and when I went, a very nice auntie was at the helm! She was super sweet and kind and answered all my questions. The matcha is also very good quality
