Atmosphere 10/10. 100% Peranakan feels. Food has to be the best if not the best in town. Restaurants also serves food outside of Peranakan cuisine. Service staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent food, excellent service. We love Chris' service, and his colleagues were friendly as well. They were very attentive, polite, and helpful. Pleasant surprise to have a complimentary slice of cake as we were celebrating her birthday. Highly recommended!

Really nice atmosphere despite being in the middle of a shopping mall. Have heard about this restaurant chain but never been. It was a real surprise that everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Service was also attentive and helpful. Also dont forget to make room for their yummy desserts!

Nice restaurant with a wonderful food. I asked for a table change because the seat directly underneath the AC and they were able to accommodate it. Our waitress Tasha has been wonderful to us. And the food were incredible. Delicious to the end. Love this place

The food are delicious. From appetizer to main menu and dessert. We have big blast and memorable dinner. The staff here are super lovely and always give us smile from their heart and also good advice. I ll come back again 🎉🎉🎉🎉

This is one of the very few establishments in Singapore that leave the wonderful semi-bitter flesh of the buah keluak nuts as they are which is my preference, as opposed to stuffing in a nut and meat mixture.
Outstanding fare and we were very well taken care of.

I have been at Violet Oon Ion for quite a few times but I always forget to post a review.
I have had gatherings with my local friends there and also brought my overseas friends there to eat the delicious peranakan food there.
The atmosphere is quiet and the decor is beautiful. Service is prompt and staff are friendly and helpful. They help us took beautiful photos of us dining there.
My personal favourite is kueh pie tee, ngor hiang and chicken satay. Refer to captions in photos. The drinks were interesting too! Try them!

Food was not that great according to my grandma. Personally for me, it did not have a wow factor at all, and everything was pretty mid. Seating was not very comfortable nor conducive, and can get pretty noisy during peak dining hours. Staff were attentive enough, but the overall experience doesn’t feel like it embodies the Nyonya or Peranakan culture very much.

Been to this outlet for several times and always look forward to each visit with awesome food and friendly staffs. Recommend - Ngoh Hiang, Kueh Pie Tee, Satay, Beef Rendang and Pulut Hitam. Thank you for the awesome experience!
