The Unagi is nicely grilled, crispy skin moist flesh. Wish the rice (supposedly from nigata) was cooked better, the texture just wasn’t right. Without perfectly cooked rice, the Unagi Bowl disappointed. The yuzu zest in the soup gave the soup a nice twist. Sake helped cushion the disappointment on the main course.

I sampled a different unagi dishes without rice, like the saucy one, the salty one, grilled liver, unagi egg roll and crispy bones. I only really dig the one with sauce.

The eel cuisine was quite good— definitely worth trying! The staff were very attentive, and the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to Yen, whose detailed and friendly service truly made our visit exceptional. The only downside was the spotlight above our table, which was a bit too bright and made us feel a little warm.

Very good experience. Seasoning was just right and not too salty. Dashi and tea are re-fillable as well. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Will 100% come back and recommend to friends and family!

It’s abit of the high side … portion is not big but it’s quite filing. Unique soup. The ceiling is low so when its full house is noisy. Service is good. Fast n efficient. Food for myself is ok.
