It is very disheartening after seeing low reviews at this place.
Because unlike the others, I was impressed not only by the food but also the service at Toast Box. The staff are warm, attentive, and quick to help, even when the cafe gets busy. The welcoming vibe makes me want to return again and again.

Shut it down. This place is absolutely filthy. All the tables were dirty and they don't give you tissues. After I finished eating, I noticed some water dripping onto my table. To my horror, the water was dripping from the air con vent covered in black mold. Just shut it down.

Terrible service, food and atmosphere. Long queue and the staff really got attitude. The tea and coffee tasted 90% water 5%coffee and 5% sugar. I thought there should be a standard ratio or protocol for each coffee process so the taste will almost be similar with different branches. We also mentioned its dining in but still put the coffee in a plastic cup. If they don’t have a serving cup, they should have mentioned it or probably put a signage that all orders will be in a paper cup.
Overall, I’ve never had a ridiculous experience in toastbox other than this one.

Always happy to stay here on a sunday afternoon with friends. Chong also is mostly a constant feature for us as he either mans the till or makes our coffe.
Have been a little hot the past few months would appreciate if management addresses this

Service was bad.. please improve on it. There’s two guys in the morning shift on 23rd Nov. Wasn’t given spoon so I asked for it, it was hidden underneath which can be overlooked. I just wonder why can’t they help customers to put the spoon when serving the eggs. Usually the other Toast Box outlets do that. They also don’t look happy doing their job. Coffee is super bitter which is unlike all the Toast Box I went. Thankfully the toast is still good.

I was just queueing to get a drink when I saw an employee put the plastic jug in the boiling water. This is known to release microplastics which put me off. Wondered if this was a normal operating procedure or whether it was a mistake? I decided to go elsewhere on this occasion.

One of the worst toastbox, lousy and rude service. Ordered a slice of banana cake and was not given a fork. When approached the staff for it, the auntie was just standing there doing nothing and shouted “it’s there! Take it yourself!” Blatantly rude. She was not even doing anything - just people watching yet can’t even help the customer with a single fork. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Nice KAYA toast
The kaya toast of toast box has an additive taste.
If you are tourist in SG, i would recommend to eat in the morning as a breakfast.
