Walked in at 11am and was relatively quiet so I didn’t have to wait for a table. Ordered a latte and roasted beef croissant which was served to my table. The croissant itself has a flaky, buttery layers with a delicate crunch. Has caramelised onions which I ain’t a fan but I’ll still order it again if I want something savoury.

Salmon and edamame quiche is very delicious; rich and slightly savoury with a biscuit crust. The stall has a small seating area with around 10 seats, making it a convenient spot for a quick bite or takeaway.

Have made several orders for colleagues to enjoy during meetings organized by my company from Tiong Bahru bakery in the past. During my recent order the staff Afiq was patient and provided professional service as I had quite a number of different items to order. It was also slightly confusing for both of us, as some items were sold out or unavailable, so I had to turn to the second choice option of my colleagues and some colleagues also ordered the same pastry. However Afiq was patient and understanding and also provided friendly customer service, I would like to share a positive compliment for your staff Arif and Jovi and hope to come back again in future to enjoy your tasty pastry! And order them for colleagues in my office 💪🏻

Been to this cafe quite a few times but somehow during weekends it's a bit hard to find a table as I find some tables are hogging seats glued to their laptops and some are just 1 person occupying a table of 4 doing their work. I had to wait for some time just to get a table. I do pity their staff as they try their best to get us seats. Is there any way some people like us who want to just enjoy their food and not have these people hog the seats for long periods of time?

One of my favorite cafes in Orchard area. It can get crowded at times and difficult to find a seat. But we really like the coffee and pastries, and the space is cozy.

I always look forward to visit Tiong Bahru Bakery. However, I was dumbstruck when I saw their croissants - they don't look like the way they used to anymore with those little "fans" at the corners. The two pieces left on the display didn't look particularly appealing. So when I mentioned this to one of the staffs, he brought out a tray of freshly baked croissants for me to choose from (how kind) even though none of them looked like the way they used to. The surprising part was, after I had chosen a croissant, he then asked me (with an embarrassingly loud voice), which "particular" kouign amann and sugar brioche that I would like to have as well. I was taken aback - I didn't mean to pick a fight with anyone. I simply pointed out that the croissants were not the same as before. We finished our meal with no complaints, everything was delicious as usual. However, I would think twice about visiting this outlet again given the attitude of this particular visit...

From the moment we entered the café, the experience was disappointing. Several tables were left dirty, and despite asking for one to be cleaned while ordering, nothing was done. We had no choice but to clear it ourselves, only to find it stained and still filthy. We had to ask the cashier again to clean it properly. She asked another staff member (pictured) to help, but he flatly refused. The cashier ended up wiping the table herself, dropping crumbs onto the sofa in the process. When we pointed it out, she used the same dirty cloth from the table to wipe the sofa. Is that really acceptable hygiene? Another customer nearby asked the same staff member for help and was met with a loud “WHAT!”—completely unprofessional. Once again, the cashier had to apologize and clean up herself. To make matters worse, we ordered iced tea but were served hot tea. Instead of remaking it, they simply poured the hot tea over ice and served it. For the price we paid, the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and careless food handling were simply unacceptable. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the staff conduct, hygiene standards, and overall service quality. This experience was far below what any customer should expect.

Tiong Bahru Bakery @ Wisma L3 is a great spot to enjoy coffee and pastries in the heart of Orchard Road. The decor is modern and inviting, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere. Service staff are friendly and efficient, adding to the pleasant experience. Their bakes and pastries are consistently good. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. However, the coffee was a bit underwhelming compared to their pastries. That said, this outlet is a fantastic place for work discussions, catching up with friends, or even hopping on a Zoom call, thanks to its conducive environment.

Going to be honest. I’m quite of a loyal customer in this cafe, and would come occasionally to do my assignments or work in this cafe for a couple hours. Just earlier at 11.45 AM ish, there were a lot of seats available and I chose the single table at the back. After working for a few hours, I was asked if I wanted to order anything as they wanted to give my table to someone else? I understand the cafe was in peak hours, and there were other customers who came earlier but only chased me away hello? I don’t think it’s a very respectful behavior coming from this staff at all, I only remember he wore glasses and was quite short. I saw like 1-2 single tables that were still left empty. Just a piece of an advice, even if you wanted to give the table to the people who were sitting at the counter. REMEMBER THAT THOSE PEOPLE WERE HERE FIRST AND ORDERED SOMETHING! For one person, I ordered one toast and a quite pricey drink. It’s not really my fault if I wanted to work there for a few hours since I came earlier and it shouldn’t be their rights to have the staff to kick me out at all no? Even if the people who wanted to sit at a single table after sitting at the bar, they should wait regardless instead of having the staff kicking us out. I’m gonna report this to the management or email Tiong Bahru regarding this issue, sorry to say I am really disappointed and I am utterly not happy with it at all. Regardless, I won’t stop coming to the cafe for this one called situation since my experience with this cafe when I study has been fine. I don’t think it’s very nice behavior at all coming from a loyal customer. I’m sure the staff knows who I am now by me speaking out regarding this. (:
