A charming bookstore with interesting artwork displayed alongside the shelves, creating a cozy and creative atmosphere. They offer a large selection of Chinese books, great for readers looking for variety in that genre.

I feel the Zall Bookstore is so underrated. They have a huge galore of books (mostly Chinese) but they have super cute stuff too. Love to come here once in awhile to check them out. I hope they’ll survive as many bookstores face the unfortunate fate of having to shut down.

Extremely cute bookshop. Love that they have some really good Chinese books. A pity they closed their cafe permanently. There are still some chairs and tables people can sit around. There are also many beautiful and cute accessories to buy.

Very nice, cosy ambience with a modern design. Great range of titles here - especially if you are searching for Chinese or Taiwan novels, literature, general knowledge etc. They have a huge selection of authors as well for that genre. English titles also available and you can easily find the top popular titles around. Super quiet environment and layout over 2 floors. There’s a children’s corner too at the basement. In the past, you could have a cup of coffee from the in-house cafeteria but they have since closed unfortunately. Regardless, still a very comfortable spot to chill out on a nice bench and enjoy a good book!

Surprised to find a bookstore at Wheelock place , tucked quietly amongst other retailers. This is the sort of bookstore you know it’s there and you want to keep it quiet so that it remains a secret hideout. So, I am not gate keeping this rather charming store. It sells mainly Chinese language books, from fiction to classic literature. However, it does have a small area where you can do your work, order a cup of coffee. It also sells quirky figurines. Chinese books are their main focus, dhuchbus a shame because I am not good in reading Chinese.

An exquisite gem in Singapore, this bookstore is a must-visit for its serene ambiance cafe and a cozy kids corner. The café and a charming gallery, its sleek black and white interior invites you to linger. Highly recommended for a tranquil escape into the world of books.

🟠 I came to Zall Bookstore last year in 2023 and while I can't really read Chinese books, I had a lovely & quiet time drinking my iced beverage there. 💜 The female staff manning the small cafe was very polite, kind and friendly. ✅️ I also bought a cute fridge magnet that showcases the Dragon Playground near my Toa Payoh home. 🟦 I believe this is the only Chinese ( Taiwanese) bookstore at Orchard Road. It is indeed a beautiful bookstore! ✅️ Highly recommended for people who are fluent in Mandarin to come here to take a look. 🟧 All in all, it was a great experience here.

Nicely decorated & quiet bookstore focused on Chinese books. They also have a small collection of English books (children) at good price. Small cafe at level 1 & small art exhibition room at level 2 (good for small, 20-30 pax event). Long reading/cafe table along the windows with great views.

i love this place, in my opinion this is the best bookstore in singapore! but its because of my own experience here hahahaha. but still its a good bookstore. i first visited here led by wzt. its a sweet (literally, the air is sweet) chinese bookstore, often held some lectures or activities, and even some local tv drama was filmed here. there is a small art gallery behind the bookshelves, and a small cafeteria on the first floor. there are five seats on the second floor. the second from the right is mine, and usually my companion will sit at the first from the right. its ok to grab a book regardless of being childish fiction or travelogue and read there. its better to visit on rainy days when its empty and extremely quiet and tranquil and chill. you can see the crossroad, the car flows, the creative designs of the buildings far away and so much. its so sad that zall closed at 730pm now in the past it was about 9pm. anyway. its better and highly recommendable to come in pairs hahahaha. there are a lot of stories here for me, and hopefully the story js still being written~

Beautiful bookstore reminiscent of Eslite bookstore (诚品) in Taiwan. Quiet in environment and quaint in design, this place will definitely make you comfortable enough to spend an afternoon reading chapters while sipping on delicious tea courtesy of the cafe within.
