While you can't tell from the outside, but this place in takasimaya orchard serves good and most important fresh sashimi, the chotoro will I hope for more fattiness, but the cut and texture of the bluefin tuna is exceeding my expectation. The negitoro don is also good, the star of the day has to be the chirashi don, thick slice of sashimi is just overwhelmingly good. a must visit for sashimi lover.

Overview: Sushi and japanese restaurant in Ngee Ann City. Pros✅: Fish was fresh and sashimi were thick cuts of fish. Lots of choice on the menu and all items we ordered we felt were good quality and were of reasonable portion sizes. Cons❌: Bit more pricey than other mid range sushi restaurants and service was average but efficient. Recommended dishes: 🍣 Salmon aburi mentaiko roll 🍚Chirashi Don 🍜 Cold Inaniwa Udon

Apr’25 Revisit after sometime. Surprised to see no more lunch crowd. Food quality maintained but service has dropped. May’24 : Lovely place to get your sushi or sashimi fix. Go for the counter seats for business or couples to watch the chefs in action. Fresh thick cut slices to savor each different fish textures Head waiter allocating the seats was friendly and very attentive. Kudos to him for managing the crowd with professionalism. Tables/seats are a little packed for comfort.

My favourite go to place for Japanese food especially for their sushi and sashimi! They always live up to my expectations, super good and fresh!!

Came by for a late lunch - around 2.45pm. Place was a bit quiet at the time, with some of the kitchen staff taking a break at the closed corner by the entrance. Overall restaurant was quiet. Anyway, I came what I came for - the food. Got the aburi bowl, and was served very fast. I have to say the overall bowl was very well put together. Loved the flavours of the rice & the fishes. The wasabi could be better, but didn't degrade the experience. Would come at a more busy time next round, the overall atmosphere was very quiet with only a few staff chatting and one looking at me from time to time.
