I am very thankful to Dr Cheryl Lee for her professionalism, confidence, and genuine care. After my first cataract surgery elsewhere, I had ongoing discomfort in my right eye and felt anxious about proceeding with my second eye surgery. Dr Lee carefully diagnosed my condition as severe dry eyes and treated it first before confidently guiding me through my second cataract surgery, which went smoothly. My nausea from the imbalance between both eyes is now gone.
She also clearly explained the issue with my right eye, giving me much-needed reassurance. Dr Lee’s cheerful and calming manner makes patients feel at ease, and she patiently addressed all my doubts. The admin team is equally friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I recently did my EVO ICL with Dr Cheryl Lee, and the experience has been exceptional. Although some doctors discourage ICL for people 45 and above, Dr Lee focuses on suitability, not just age. Because I have presbyopia (老花), I was recommended monovision correction, and thanks to the simulation contact lenses they prescribed beforehand, I already knew it would work well for me.
The clinic is incredibly thorough - I went through a whole series of pre-assessment tests to ensure I was truly a good candidate. That level of care gave me so much confidence.
A huge part of the positive experience comes from the amazing team: Pamela, Emily, Jiaping, Deborah and Joanne. Special thanks to Pamela, who explained everything clearly and patiently. I was a little unsure initially, but she answered all my questions and helped put me at ease.
Overall, I’m very happy with my results and extremely grateful to Dr Lee and her team. Highly recommended for anyone considering EVO ICL.

I experienced sudden floaters and flashes of light over a long weekend, which was worrying. Even though Dr Cheryl Lee was away, she promptly responded to my messages, listened to my concerns, and guided me calmly. She even referred me to one of her most trusted ophthalmologists for an honest second opinion, assuring me she’d take over once she was back which, thankfully, was only a few days later.
True to her word, she and her team handled all the paperwork and hospital arrangements so that my laser photocoagulation procedure could be done the very day she returned.

Had my ICL done with Dr Cheryl Lee’s team earlier this year, and I’m so so grateful for everything they’ve done. They accommodated my schedule so much that I felt bad!!! I underwent an ICL procedure (highly myopic with astigmatism) with Dr. Cheryl Lee in May 2025 and im glad to have chosen to invest my eyes with Dr Cheryl.
From the first consultation, Dr. Cheryl and her team (My Optometrist is Pamela) were professional, patient and incredibly reassuring - explaining the entire process in detail and addressing all my concerns so I could make an informed decision. ICL is expensive, but knowing that eye-safety comes first, I do not take chance to opt for the second.
Prior to the surgery, multiple scans and measurements (quick and pain free ones!) were taken. And i have to say, the surgery itself really surprised me! Once i lie on the bed, Dr Cheryl asked me, what music would i like to listen to and she eased me into the procedure. It was super smooth and efficient and there was minimal discomfort (afew seconds to put the lens in place). 3 songs by Lady gaga were played in the background and before i know it, I'm done with the surgery. There was also no pain post- surgery and I'm out and about the next day, attending birthday party, going to cafe. All i have to do is to drip the eye drops to keep the eyes moistened, although i frankly do not feel much of the dry eyes. I was just following instructions to care for my eyes.
All in all, it was a great experience from pre-consultation to surgery to post surgery. I will highly recommend The Eye Clinic by Dr Cheryl to my family and friends as ICL is a reversible and predictable procedure. Cheers!

After cataract surgery on both eyes, my vision unfortunately didn't improve. My previous doctor attributed the issue to dry eye which is treatable only with drops.
