The Cocoon Space operates as an initiative of Singapore Fashion Council, providing incubation and support infrastructure for emerging fashion designers and entrepreneurs. Functioning as both physical space and support program, The Cocoon Space addresses critical barriers facing early-stage fashion businesses including high operating costs, lack of business expertise, limited industry connections, and difficulty accessing resources that established brands take for granted.
Services and support likely include affordable workspace for designers to create collections and conduct business operations, retail space opportunities allowing brands to test products and build customer bases, business mentorship providing guidance on operations, finance, marketing, and growth strategies, industry connections facilitating introductions to manufacturers, buyers, media, and collaborators, educational programming offering workshops and training on fashion business topics, and promotional support generating visibility for participating brands. The incubation model recognizes that creative talent alone doesn't ensure business success—designers need business skills, resources, and support systems to transform creative visions into viable enterprises. The Singapore Fashion Council initiative reflects government support for creative industries as economic development strategy, recognizing fashion's potential to create jobs, develop export markets, build Singapore's creative reputation, and diversify the economy beyond traditional sectors. Participating designers gain crucial early-stage support that increases their likelihood of surviving the challenging startup phase and growing into sustainable businesses.

U can book there and after few hour they will cancel it.
There respond will be not available anymore, they will prioritise someone over you. Really bad service they provide.

Glints/Funding Societies had an awareness talk on their initiatives at The Cocoon, Orchard on 14th July 2023. It was indeed beneficial to many SMEs n new start up who could not get funding from the the run of the mill banks plus also could not reach out to talents in the region for ⅓ or ¼ of the Singapore's wages n those from the regions are a lot more hungry to learn n to keep their jobs. It's indeed an eye opener !!!
