I appreciate the mall’s effort in attempting to go pet-friendly. While it isn’t 100% pet-friendly yet, the little efforts taken are applaudable: 1. Clearly labelled signs from the carpark to lift lobby to the mall. While this may sound simple, you will be surprised by how many established malls fudge this up. 2. Large open spaces which are indoor pet-stroller friendly. 3. Concentration of pet-friendly shops, amenities and Sky park on level 4. Will definitely hope that one day the general lift lobby can be accessed rather than the cargo lift, though the cargo lift worked rather well. However, the bumpiness is not ideal for both humans and pets with motion sickness. Also hoping for more pet-friendly eateries which explicitly allows pets instead of customers having to circumvent or flout any rules, such as having pet strollers on the tiles of the mall while we sit within the area demarcated by the tiles of the cafe. Well done in general!

The newly rejuvenated Cathay mall cum lifestyle concept mall is a nice place to visit. It’s not too crowded on weekdays, and the recent renovation gives the place a touch of luxury with a more spacious layout. While there aren’t many fashion retail options, the mall boasts numerous popular eateries and cafes perfect for relaxing. A new supermarket is also set to open soon in the basement, adding to the convenience. Overall, it’s a recommended spot to check out when you’re around the Orchard Road area.

Not much people on weekdays, peaceful to chill and hangout with friends. Many affordable places to have a good meal with good service at Saizeriya and Yakiniku Like. Miniso nicer than other branches.

Impressed by the revamp. Comfortable and cosy forum space with seating, much more traffic in the building. The sightlines and visual rhythms are very pleasing now. It does not feel deserted. Thermomix is there now too.

Mobile connection is quite poor inside the mall, especially in the basement. The 15-minute free Wi-Fi is not very helpful and only works sometimes. Many times I felt like I needed to get out of the mall as soon as possible just to get back to normal internet coverage. I hope the mall will consider offering more generous Wi-Fi connectivity for its users.

Cathay has undergone a revamp and is now looking gorgeous! It has a beautiful massive screen, and the mall’s interior is full of green spaces and high ceilings. Although it’s just a ‘soft launch’ for now, there are already several F&B outlets open like Tsui Wah, Starbucks, Kebuke, Fore coffee and Saizeriya, with Saboten, Wingstop, Yakiniku, yakun and a basement food court etc upcoming. Unfortunately there is no more cinema, but before the renovation there were already very few cinema patrons, so that’s to be expected. Excited for what’s to come!

The whole place is very clean and new. Shops are still in the process of renovation. Having a screen which is 3 storey high in the centre of the mall is a plus point. Looking forward to the full opening of the shops.

The security is not following fire and evacuation code 2023 - fire exit door blocked by Ben & Hisham Security Enforcer, a serious fire hazard and which Center Management needs looking into - Ben is not following protocol, nor are they customer friendly. Conflicting answers provided just being rude. Not recommended to rent here nor to even visit the Shopping Center. I got drapped in the Center trying to get to my gym, then returning usual route, a portable barrier was too much for Hisham to open; sending me to level 3; there Ben not willing to open the emergency exit glass door to set me free, instead sending me to level 2; there no one to assist. An Odysee which is a journey avoidable with management/ training/ and in the case of the two gentlemen warnings to be issued. I will review this set up in the next weeks to follow up. Meanwhile wrote to the fire brigade to review this independently. Ref to the below picture - it’s Hisham celebrating at his level 6 exit I tried to leave from earlier; when I finally reached the exit going 100 steps carting my bike in the heat - no comments …

Nice new mall. Love the high ceiling in the centre court. Like the restaurants. A lot not yet open. EXCEPT THE NURSING ROOM OMG. The pictures say it all! I hope they are planning to refurbish it

My husband and I were both stuck in the lift multiple times. The management of this building should care more for customer experience and the visitors. I approached the security staff to tell him perhaps you’d wanna call maintenance for the lift breakdown and cordone it off so other people don’t get stuck. He just laughed and brushed me aside, which was ???. Culture flows from the top, so really hope this isn’t reflective of the attitude management has towards customer experience in general…
