This Aroi Mak Mak food place is so hidden i thought I went to the wrong building. The food is so delicious that it did remind me of 🇹🇭 Thailand. Definitely worth making a trip down.

It’s good for Thai food lovers. The price is fair for Orchard area. Portion is a quite big enough for normal eaters. 4 dishes are enough for 5 people to eat. Service needs to be improved. Only 2 waitresses and they also work as cashiers. We had to be a bit patient 😅. Little bit long Q at dinner time. Most customers are locals. Highly recommend for Tom Yum soup and squid with corn. My rating for the green fried rice is 3/5.

Food is authentically Thai cooking. Service is fast as it was off peak hours. Tasting the dishes reminded me of my favourite local Thai food when I was attached in local districts outside of Bangkok. Great food and good fast service.

Late night Thai food cravings set in suddenly, and we decided to head to Orchard towers as they have a few Thai restaurant there, parking was a killer though as it is per entry basis, but no regrets on our choice of food for a late night super hangout. Everywhere was crowded at night there, but we managed to choose Thai Tantric and boy was our choice spot on. We ordered dry pork curry which comes with a velvety and addictive red curry, that goes soooo well with rice, every mouthful was so satisfying. We wanted Thai omelette to go with it and though we ordered wrongly, it ended up as a really good option too. First time trying omelette with a mince pork fillings in there, there was some crunch in every bite and goes really well with the curry. Basil thai mince pork rice (Pad Kra Pao) ended up a better option to go with other mains so that it is not too carb heavy with the right amount of rice to be shared out between 2 people. I have always love stir fry vermicelli since my uni days, and this one although a tad oily, it goes really well with the chili condiments that you can self serve at the restaurant. The wait for the food can be long, but it was worth the wait and honestly for late night supper, the whole point is to chit chat and have good food. This hits the spot.

Hidden gem restaurant that serves authentic Thai food at affordable prices. Their seafood fried rice is really awesome.
