tcc – The Connoisseur Concerto at Takashimaya brings Singapore's leading art boutique café concept to the heart of Orchard Road, offering an elevated dining experience that blends gourmet cuisine with artistic sophistication. Recently opened in Ngee Ann City, this location showcases the tcc philosophy of creating spaces where guests can "indulge in their own time" while appreciating fine coffee and carefully curated food.
What sets tcc apart from typical cafés is its commitment to the art boutique concept. Every detail has been intentionally curated – from the spatial flow to the atmospheric lighting – creating an environment that encourages lingering and savouring rather than rushing. The menu features gourmet fare that matches the sophisticated setting, including inventive cold coffee creations, well-executed main courses, and signature items like the tamarind chicken breast that have earned loyal followings.
The Takashimaya location offers special experiences like high tea sets at 0 for two pax (available 2-5pm), providing an accessible luxury experience for shoppers seeking a midday respite. For those seeking more indulgence, the 4-course tasting menu paired with fine wines demonstrates tcc's ambition to elevate café dining to restaurant-level sophistication.
The comprehensive menu spans from expertly crafted coffees to substantial meals, making tcc suitable for everything from quick coffee breaks to leisurely lunches or intimate dinners. The artful presentation extends beyond the interior design to the food itself, with each dish plated as carefully as if it were in a fine dining establishment. For those seeking café culture that prioritises aesthetics and culinary quality in equal measure, tcc delivers an experience that justifies its reputation as Singapore's premier boutique café chain.
Beautiful restaurant, nicely decorated, feels upmarket.
Coffee decent and within expectation.
Service polite but lacked training, did not match the restaurant ambiance.
Food extremely disappointing, eggs benedict was semi-hard-boiled, combination of flavours trying too hard to be premium, did not taste good at all.

The menu is slightly different from other TCCs. Food is okay but presentation could have been slightly better. Beef cheeks were nice with portion slightly bigger than what was shown in the menu The truffle fries was good but some felt that it was on the saltier side. Service is good with staff being attentive. It could be that it's quiet and there were few customers in the cafe. A good place for catch up with friends with a wide array of teas and coffees. Used to love their desserts but prices like our fave 'Dark Devotion' have risen so much that we have made the choice to save our waistlines and pockets.

Love the ambience, a great place to chill. Surprisingly, the food is exceptionally good that’s why I went again. Love the cauliflower soup❤️
A number of healthy choices and that’s my priority. The rest are pretty good and quality surpassed the cost 👍🏻👍🏻 as compared to other similar cafes around this area. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Definitely recommendable.
