Always loved their tarts but the taste has changed quite a bit through the years. The crust is less flavorful and feels dry, the crème is lacking flavor, layers and it’s too sweet. Chocolate in the tart has no texture or flavor. Some soul is missing in the tart though it looks the same. Wonder what happened.

Tried their melon & rose cold brew but couldn't taste any hint of melon at all — it just felt like a regular cold brew. The matcha latte was disappointing too — the matcha looked dull and oxidised, which made it unappetising, and unfortunately, the taste didn’t help either.
As for the cherry tart, the large cherry on top was quite sour and didn’t balance well with the rest of the tart, which was overly sweet. Just not pleasant overall.
Service was also lacking. Despite being charged a service fee, no one actually served us after placing the food down. There were two staff behind the counter, but none attending to customers, not even when we left. Makes you wonder what the service charge is actually for.
It’s a shame — I remember when this place first opened and had such promise. Now it’s almost empty, and sadly, I can see why. I genuinely hope the owner takes time to sort things out.
Food: 2.5/5
Service: 1/5
Ambience: 3.5/5

Extremely overpriced (nearly $15 per tart!) is not necessarily a bad thing, if the quality of the experience were to match. The rudeness and arrogance of the service staff however, is another thing to behold and witness. Judging by reviews posted almost a year ago, it appears that nothing has changed. If bad attitude comes at a proportionate price tag, then no surprises there.
However, it’s up to the customer to show that this isn’t how the world works. Oh, and the tarts are pretty but the flavours pretty mid. Spend your money elsewhere in Singapore’s food scene where at least you as a customer is treated with some decency and respect.

As the prices have been steadily getting higher, this cafe is generally not too crowded. Take a seat inside and order at the counter. Tarts are still very decent but prices have gone up by more than 30-40% over the years. Still a decent place to sit around at if you’re in the building. Other places gets a bit crowded during the peak hours after lunch.

Strategically located on the second floor of Shaw Centre, right by the escalator, this cafe is absolutely gorgeous. I particularly appreciate that the space is very quiet, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making it an excellent spot for meetings and conversations. Their tarts are quite impressive, not just visually, but also in their craftsmanship and taste. If you're unsure what to choose, I highly recommend the raspberry tart or the dark chocolate tart!

Really cosy spot with friendly staff :-) Chocalate cake was rich with interesting layers and textures, incorporating caramel and cocoa crisps. Was given a free tart too by the really friendly staff :) Definitely will recommend and visit again ❤️

Place is quite cozy and the tarts are quite delicious. Lucky if get a seat else there are people who just sit and hog the place. Tarts are more to the sweeter kind. Stroller friendly as well as it quite spacious. Price is on a high side as a tart cost $12 to $14.

I liked the strawberry tart ($15.95) - the strawberries were fresh and the tart and cream had the right amount of sweetness to me. This was a nice and cosy place to read, it was almost empty on a sunday afternoon, the seats were comfortable and the music was relaxing.
