IMHO this Osaka import provides far higher price quality value than many. They utilize many technology - double conveyer belt system, self-ticketing, self-payment without compromising on the food quality and variety. And the long queue at the multiple outlets testify to its popularity. We particularly loved the salmon belly and the drilled mackerel sushi - at <$3 each is unbelievable! Pricer plate e.g. Salmon mountain at $5 is great with 5 salmon pieces done 5 different ways!

My friend in HkG cannotntry this brand because of long queues. I'm in Indonesia no need queue. We just landed to sg. Tired to flight in whole day. We just decided eat a simple food and nesrby the hotel. Try it for our first dinner. Have some different in every country tapi masih enak. Just wait for a several table within 10 mins. 2 person around S36. Tapi close around 9pm in this mall. Around this more a lot cafe or resort open until midnight or 3am.

If you're here with the expectations of the place serving conveyor belt sushi, you'll be fine. If you expect anything more, you're better off heading to a proper full service Japanese restaurant.
Sushi is fresh, selection is wide, and prices are reasonable. Don't expect too much service, given that many things are either automated or self service. On the flip side, you don't have to speak to too many human beings throughout your dining journey.
I really liked that the way they calculated the number of plates, the colors of the plates, and how they simply pass you a payment card after for you to close off the transaction on your own.
The only problem I had though, was the noisy ordering tablet, making the music that it was making, promoting whatever it was promoting. Sure annoyed us quite a bit while we were having our meal time conversations.

Crowded in a quiet Isetan shopping mall. Long queues and long wait during peak hours. Small area with few seating. Food is ok, affordable.

It gets really crowded, so making a reservation a few days in advance or heading over before 11:30am for lunch is advisable. We were there before 11:30am on a Sunday without a reservation, and we waited over an hour to be seated. The food is below average quality Japanese food, but the service is good, and the kids would be really entertained by the conveyor belt sushi. We are quite frequent customers of Sushiro, because my daughter has a great time there. However, if you are looking for authentic, good quality Japanese food, I wouldn't suggest Sushiro at all.
