Sushi Moka presents an intimate 10-seat omakase experience hidden within the OCBC space at Wisma Atria Level 4, offering serious Japanese cuisine in an unexpected setting. This exclusive dining concept—accessible by reservation only through Chope—brings together master chefs with decades of experience from Tokyo, Osaka, Ginza, and Singapore finest sushi establishments to create a hidden gem along the Orchard Road dining scene.
The restaurant is helmed by two distinguished masters: Chef Ueda Toshihiro brings 42 years of experience across Japan and Singapore kitchens, whilst Chef Ueda Wada arrives with credentials from Ginza most revered sushi temples including two-Michelin-starred Sushi Iwa and Sushi Tokami, where he previously served as Executive Head Chef. This combined expertise ensures each omakase course reflects proper Edomae technique, seasonal awareness, and the refined precision that defines high-level sushi craftsmanship.
Ingredients fly in daily from Japan, with seasonal seafood carefully selected to showcase peak flavours. Each piece of nigiri features Niigata rice seasoned with a secret vinegar blend, whilst the progression through courses follows traditional omakase structure, allowing chefs to guide diners through optimal flavour sequences. The intimate 10-seat counter creates direct interaction between chefs and guests, transforming dinner into an educational experience where technique, ingredient selection, and preparation methods become part of the meal.
OCBC cardholders receive special pricing on seasonal menus, with winter omakase options available from October through February featuring lunch sets named Ume and Yuri, and dinner experiences called Ran and Momo Moka at various price points. Reservations are essential given the limited seating, and can be made at 9392 1332 or via Chope. For serious sushi enthusiasts seeking authentic Edomae omakase without the typical premium hotel or standalone restaurant prices, Sushi Moka delivers Michelin-caliber technique in an intimate, exclusive setting at the heart of Wisma Atria.

came because of the ocbc offer. had the yuri omakase. starter was a fish with radish. served cold and dry. noted stacks of them already left there out in the cold even for the second seating. quality of fish obviously not the best and the elder sushi chef was in charge of our sushi. each sushi was served within one minute of each other. too fast for our liking. feels rushed. service was normal but not the usual japanese warmth u get at a proper omakase. come with ur expectations managed, would never pay full price for this.

Hidden deep inside the OCBC. Need to have reservation as it is omly 10 seats, with 2 seatings for each meal. The sushi are great with the usual favourite and some less usual ones. The 3 kind of somen is tasty. Only minus is they did not end off with a dessert.

We loved everything in this restaurant. Have picked Plum menu for our lunch. Every dish is exquisitely prepared. It is value for money especially the food is of one-star Michelin standard. We are very impressed with Chef Marcus' culinary skill and Pheobe's for her attentiveness. Kudo!

Reserved a dinner seating at 8pm with my friend and we tried the Premium Omakase set. Amazing dining experience and the sashimi, sushi were so fresh and varieties of fish for sushi. Chef Tommy came from Osaka, Japan and he had great culinary skills in making the sushi so tasty. After about 10 sushi, there was Uni sushi and a handroll where the seaweed was roasted. Tastiest handroll. Every bite was a delight. The servings were generous and we were all so full. A5 wagyu beef with somen. That was another great dish. Dessert was a handmade cheesecake and Roasted rice cake with green tea icecream and redbean paste. We still finished it after being so full because it was so good. Maggie, the restaurant manager was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Sushi Moka for a great omakase experience.

This place offers an incredible omakase dining experience. The menu mainly consists of sea food and sashimi ( they can torch it for you, but dining experience is different from intended). Each item is meticulously prepared with great care in front of you with fresh ingredients straight from Japan. The presentation of the dishes was stunning with a quick introduction of each dish. This time, the dessert served was sakura flavoured ice cream. The atmosphere here is peaceful as seats in the room are limited, and the service staff are friendly and quick to refill your green tea. Over, highly recommended to visit for the experience, it feels as though you have travelled to Japan from Singapore.
