We dropped by Sen-ryo after making an online reservation a few days ago. Bear in mind that this restaurant is always crowded, so you might have to wait 1.5 hours if you don’t have any reservations. We ordered these items off the menu: * Chawanmushi * Unagi sushi * Sen-ryo Tamagoyaki (without mentaiko sauce) * Ebi maki * Soft-shell crab * Nabeyaki Udon * Grilled dried Hokke * Tori Nabe All in all, we thought the taste of the Sen-ryo’s food is quite average. The most outstanding dishes were the unagi sushi (because it’s dipped with the right amount of sauce and the unagi itself is tender) and soft-shell crab (not too greasy and it tasted really fresh). The freshness of the prawns was well integrated into the chawanmushi but we realised that it turned watery just after a little while. We felt that the chawanmushi at Sushiro tasted much better. The grilled dried Hokke (fish) tasted fresh and well-grilled, however we find that it’s a bit salty (the waiter did told us beforehand that it’s going to be salty). It did paired well with rice! The nabeyaki udon was served hot, but not boiling hot as what we have eaten in other restaurants. All in all, other than the udon that tasted chewy (which I like), the soup base and ingredients tasted ordinary. The prawn tempura that came with the nabeyaki udon and the ebi maki was layered with a thick layer of batter. As a result, we find that it was a bit too greasy for our liking. All this being said, the service of the waiters and waitresses are really too-notched! They are extremely attentive (clear your plates when your table is too full, fill up your cup with hot tea the moment they saw that it’s empty). This makes our dining experience very comfortable at Sen-ryo. Furthermore, for an up-end location such as Zion Orchard, it’s not as expensive as we thought - we paid $119 for the food we ordered.

Came with my family (with a 10year old) to celebrate dad's birthday! My mom whom had done the booking, said she was lucky to have booked this even 3 weeks in advance>< Tl;Dr, Pretty place, great service, great food! It was my first visit here, and among all the dishes, the ones that stood out to me were the Braised Hamachi & Seasonal Hamachi (i usually don't order this fish👉👈). The uni that was served on the sashimi was really sweet and light, 0 fishiness whatsoever, perfect for people who can't stand the heaviness of uni. Sashimi platter was superb, everything so fresh – firm flesh, no stench, nice selection, an even knifework. The aged bonito was interesting, definitely an acquired taste as its iron-forward, with a very slight tinge of acidity. Mirin boshi: straight up reminded us of chinese pork jerky (bahkwa/肉干) with its texture, smokiness and sweet savoury taste, but its fish😲 7.8/10 Also a feedback from mom(previously visited): Get the grilled beef tenderloin instead of the Grilled Wagyu Ribeye. Wagyu is pretty standard, not the best ones she's had, so if you're just looking for a quick beef snack, the tenderloin will suffice👍🏻 It comes on a bed of onion, with sweet soy sauce. Simple but well made:) Ebi fry was good too, they used large sweet shrimps for it so it had a light crunchy exterior and a soft, tender core. 9/10 Kaki(Oyster) Fry was decent too. You couldn't taste any fishiness/brininess from the oysters. It wasn't dry as well, so its good for people who don't like the raw ones (not me tho😋) 7.5/10 Grilled Crab Miso that came with toasty crustless bread😆 It has a strong crabby fishiness that not everyone can accept. But for those who enjoy eating the crab guts, this is a must order 📝 8/10 Service was great as well!!! We brought our own cakes in and they were helpful in trying to light our candles up. We had some questions on certain things and they tended to us without rushing off, even though it was reallly busy. Do rmb to make reservations way in advance 👍🏻

First time eating at this outlet after visiting Suntec outlet twice. Same high quality food at good value prices for what you get. Service is attentive and range of items really wide. Sake is also a good variety and fairly priced.

I did not intend to have omakase but it was the weekend and the wait is 75 min. The greeter Boon was an amazing persuader and we decided to have omakase and what an experience! We were treated with such symphony of taste of different fishes and dishes. Our handsome chef Jeff (he requested for us to call him handsome 😆) mentioned that each chef can choose to come up with their specialty, and he had such good pairing of fish (which was of superb and fresh quality) that we were wowing throughout the dinner. The omakase is about 15 courses and each one is with such pleasant surprise - the price is about 198++ but totally worth it!

Our family went for the weekend lunch Omakase to celebrate Father’s Day last Saturday. We loved the cosy ambience, especially the private room which made the experience more intimate and comfortable. We were served by Chef KC and Crystal, whose service was fantastic. They were both friendly and attentive, and took the time to explain the details of each dish presented to us. The ingredients were very fresh, complemented by some refreshing sauces that enhanced the overall flavours.

A good dining place with your friend or family. Service are really good and the food came fast. However, I didn't find the food to be super delicious or anything. Although the food presentation is really good (for photos). Pricing wise it's on a higher end. If you are looking to eat really good japanese food with the same price point, probably better options out there. But the service and atmosphere here is the reason I came.

The items we ordered were mostly good. Especially the all sushi and the yakitori. But the sashimi platter was a little disappointing. The prawn didn’t taste fresh . The other sashimi was just ok. Restaurant is super crowded as always. Service was still good and we didn’t have to wait too long for our food.

Fantastic omakase meal that's value for money and thoughtfully prepared. Chef KC took into consideration our dietary preferences and customised some parts of the omakase menu to suit our palate. We also appreciated his introduction of every dish and it's origin so we know what we were putting in our mouths. Great ambience, not too noisy. Memorable experience, and the peach sorbet at the end was the icing on the cake. Perfect ending to our meal☺️

Had the lunch omakase at Senryo and it was an absolute treat. The selection was beautifully curated with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and each course was well-balanced in flavor and presentation. The sushi was especially outstanding—delicate, flavorful, and expertly crafted. Big shoutout to Chef Kit for the amazing culinary experience and to Crystal for the warm, attentive service. They made the meal even more memorable. Highly recommended for a refined yet relaxed Japanese dining experience.
