Stumbled upon this spot while wandering around FEP, drawn in by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
The cafe has a homely yet minimalist, cozy-industrial vibe that feels welcoming. I only tried the coffee this time (which was good) but noticed they also bake their own cakes instore, which I’ll definitely come back for. The staff were proactive and attentive, which made the experience even better. Would be great if they had a menu displayed outside though

banoffee cake — i was quite let down by this 😭 it’s 90% cream, with a chocolate tart at the bottom. i wish the cream had more flavour at least, and i couldn’t really appreciate the flavour of the tart as im not a fan of dark choco :”)
honey cake — thank god i got this bc it really salvaged the whole experience for me 🤣 it was so yummy!!! buttery 🤭 it could’ve had a stronger honey taste but that’s okay, the texture and everything else was great
sesame latte — i don’t like coffee and ordered this not knowing it had coffee in it 🥹 my past experiences ordering a sesame latte didn’t come with coffee…. luckily my friend likes coffee so it didn’t go to waste

Small cozy shop selling coffee and cakes. Came around 230pm and it was almost full. We asked for recommendation for the filtered coffee that is not so acidic. Love the recommended $7 Indonesia coffee that smells aromatic and tasted fruity and nutty. Also had the cheese cake which was creamy, eating small bites with the burnt top was super yummy. Would try again.

This cafe is so cute!! It’s got a great and very unique selection of drinks and desserts that all look so good. I come here to get my matcha latte that they do perfectly. The staff are also quite kind, and the service is so fast. I would 100% recommend this cafe to anyone, it’s really such a perfect cafe for a quick caffeine run or a dessert stop.

Was looking for my coffee fix.. Passed by and saw quite a crowd in this cafe.
Ordered the long black… the coffee was fruity, but abit light and sourish for my liking.
I think they are famous for their cakes… saw almost every table had their cheese cake etc..

Not so hidden gem located in Far East Plaza! Saw many amazing reviews about this place and was excited to try it out. Had the Banoffee ($10) and Matcha Cheese Black Sesame ($11). Portion sizes were generous (shared 2 cakes amongst 3 people) and cakes were pretty decent but lacked the wow factor in my opinion. Heard that their drinks are good so I will definitely consider dropping by if I’m in the area! It’s a great spot to chill and get some work done too! Check out my Instagram food account @kyscals for a more in-depth review!!

Another great coffee hangout for chilling and for your caffeine fix in this area. Tried both hot/iced white coffees and was not bad (personal rating for their coffee I’d give it a 7/10) so will definitely come back again.
They do freshly baked cakes as well and you can even get to see them prep/cream their cakes at the counter so it was quite cool!
Tried their banoffee cake $9/slice (banana, chocolate and coffee) and the combination was so good. Big banana portions, expresso frosting and chocolate-caramel base was really really delicious. However perhaps the cream can be a bit thicker so it can better hold the cake body together since the banana portions are quite thick/heavy, so it’s barely just doing enough for the cream to hold it. Nevertheless, one of the best bakes around this area!
Also caught them doing layering of the honey biscuits layered cake, which seems to be another signature item as it’s like a cake-version crepe with milk frosting, picture wise it looks awesome so this is definitely my next must-try!
Note: All their ready-made cakes can be selected from the fridge behind the cashier when you do your ordering. Prices range from $8-$12 per slice.

Was surprised to find this cafe in Far East Plaza among all the other clothes/nail/massage shops in the mall, and there was quite a crowd even on a weekday afternoon, so I decided to try its coffee.
The coffee was smooth and aromatic, well balanced between bitterness and acidity. I enjoyed it, but was a little sad that the cup was only half full :(

We stumbled upon this coffee shop quite by accident after running an errand on a Saturday afternoon. The inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee drifted out onto the corridor, pulling us inside. The owner mentioned it had been open for two and a half years, yet somehow this was my very first visit.
At the counter, one look at the cheesecakes was enough to convince me to stay. The Banoffee was indulgent and well-balanced, but the Burnt Cheesecake stood out—silky, rich, and easily one of the better ones I’ve had in Singapore.
To pair with it, we ordered a cappuccino and a mocha. Both were flavorful and well roasted, strong yet smooth, without the harsh bitterness that sometimes lingers.
If you happen to visit on a Saturday beware that the café would be crowded, though the buzz of people only added to its kopitiam charm. What began as a chance detour became a lovely Saturday discovery worth returning to.

great spot in orchard for good cakes and coffee :)
have been to piccolo by hei kim 3 times and have tried their honey layer cake, strawberry matcha cake as well as black sesame matcha cheesecake. the cakes available for the day will be displayed in the fridge near the counter and i love how they come up with really unique and good flavours! their cakes are generally >$10 but their slices are really huge. have tried their hot matcha and iced americano for the drinks and i would say that they are decent as well!
only downside is the crowd these days 😅 might be difficult to find a seat during peak hours!
