100% authentic Vietnamese food. Closest to what you get in Vietnam!
I’ve tried so many places which claims to be “authentic Vietnamese food”. I can’t verify the authenticity but the flavors and ingredients used at other establishments are not from Vietnam, which doesn’t make them authentic in my personal opinion.
However at Miss Saigon, the taste and flavor you get is so similar to what I had in HCM. The smokiness in com tam, the “egg meat loaf”, they even have thinly sliced pork skin.
Banh mi was 200/100. Crispy and fluffy baguette, exactly what you get from famous spots like Banh Mi Huỳnh Hoa. Generous amount of protein, ordered 3 types, chicken, roast pork and grilled pork, all were filled with wayyyyy more protein than veg. That kinda threw off the balance in each bite. Would be great if more picked carrots were added to cut through the greasy and dense cuts of meats. But overall I’ll still return.
The food was that good that after my first visit, I went again 2 days later!

Great place for supper. 24 hrs! Very nice toasted banhmie. Crispy and not dry. Huge juicy portion of roasted pork with lots of crispy vege. It's delicious. Great place to relax in the night listening to Vietnamese song while watch people with their international girlfriends. Not a fast food chain as chef really make it with effort. Coffee is nice too. Will like to try the lor bak next visit.

Awesome Vietnamese place located in orchard plaza.
We got the roasted pork banh mi. Banh mi was extremely crispy and light, with generous amount of roasted pork. Roasted pork had a good balance of fatty and lean meat and was crispy and not soggy. Pate was rich and flavourful as well.
Banh mi was 10.90 if im not wrong.
The beef noodle soup was unique. It tasted like a blend of tom yum soup and beef noodle soup. The chili they gave on the side was exceptional. Chili had a good kick to it, was spicy and sour. There were lots of umami flavour to it.
Vietnamese coffee was a little too sweet to my liking despite ordering zero sugar. The coffee however was extremely rich and creamy. They definitely used butter in the coffee. However, it might get too overwhelming and jelat at times.

Personally, one of the best banh mihs Ive had in SG. I got the roast pork banh mih
Yes, its pricier at 10.90 but i do think its worth. Very generous with the meat and vegetables. I felt the balance of meat and pickled vegetables/chili was perfect too.
Meat is on the fattier side, but its what i expect from roast pork.
Most importantly, very crispy but not dry baguette. Very fresh bread, not stale at all.
The drinks do seem a bit pricey for me ($4.50+), and seating is limited but definitely get their banh mih!

DAMN GOOD AND DAMN BIG i think even bigger than banh mi hyun hoa. average singaporean lass confirm cannot finish
kept it overnight and reheated it but it was still fantastic. baguette light and crispy didn't get soggy in spite of being overloaded with hefty amount of diff hams. the hams all had no porky smell. i only wish there was maybe a bit more heat (like spicy onions and chilli padi) and maybe a touch more of that creamy buttery mayo

I had the pork Bahn Mi at $10.90. I would rate it as a 7/10. Not my best bahn mi nor the worst. Looks like I discover this eatery after the prices have hiked. For $10.90, it’s Orchard Rd pricing. That bahnmi crust is crunchy (love it ) … just don’t eat in your office. The pork is substantial but not crispy. The fresh veggies need improvement. Scallions in the bahm mi. Really ? I can’t find the coriander!
Actually I wonder how such a small eatery comes up with such a wide array of dishes. 🤔 Jack of all trades, master of none.
The seating area is cramped. So I will not bother to sit around here.
I think the food here OK but not something I would go crazy over or raved over with friends.

Ordered their spring rolls, special great banh mi, and bun bo hue. I must say the price is a little bit on the pricy end, the taste is okay. Their banh mi is the highlight, quite generous portion and it tastes quite alright. The soup was abit mid tho, but they have a generous portion of meat.
Seatings arrangement are nothing too grand, but it gets the job done. If you’re looking for a quick fast but filling meal I would recommend going here.

Visited about a month ago for the first time and such a nice and cosy place with authentic Vietnamese vibes. The food is made by Vietnamese staff and there’s Vietnamese music playing in the background, which added to the charm. The banh mi was awesome back then, and I was telling my husband we should definitely come back to try the other dishes.
We finally returned yesterday, but it was quite disappointing. We arrived around 6:30pm and were told there was no cooked food banh mi even though we came specifically hoping to try the noodles this time. It wasn’t crowded when we ordered, but our banh mi still took a really long time to be ready. To make things more confusing, we later noticed other customers who came after us able to order and eating noodles.
And to top it off, the banh mi this time wasn’t as delicious as our first visit — something was just lacking.
Not sure if they were short-handed or having an off day, but it was definitely a letdown compared to our first visit.
*photos were from first visit, this time round was disappointing for any photos.

Can’t stop raving about this spot. This is going to be my go to dinner spot in Orchard from now on.
They’re not stingy on the ingredients at all. Grilled Pork Banh Mi was filled to the brim - & for $9.90, it’s super worth it. Especially since you know how other places will definitely skimp on the amount of meat.
Pho are very decent side options as well! Will come back!
