Best Padang restaurant in Singapore!
This is our go-to place whenever we’re feeling homesick. As an Indonesian, Padang food is always the answer when you’re hungry—huge portions and bold, savoury flavours.
We’ve been here many times and it’s never disappointed (except the rare times it’s closed 😅). The ayam goreng and ayam bakar are consistently good, and my husband loves the paru goreng (fried lungs). Our absolute favourites are the dendeng batokok (beef jerky with green chilli) and the sambal goreng with tempeh and tofu cubes—so good! 🥰
Don’t skip the fritters! The tempe goreng and bakwan (vegetable fritter) are a must for that perfect crunch ❤️❤️
Pair everything with their homemade drinks—we especially love the lemongrass drink.
Pro tip: always ask for gravy over your rice, and ditch the utensils for maximum enjoyment 😋

Tasteful Indonesian food, very authentic.
The star dish is their beef rendang. Succulent, full of flavour, all meat, no tendons.
The chicken curry is average.
Recommended. I’ll be back! Thumbs up!

I very much enjoyed getting nasi padang here. The service was quick and they were more than happy to recommend what to get. Otherwise, I appreciated that they gave me more sambal when I asked for it. It's worth coming here if you happen to have a craving for nasi padang in Lucky Plaza or around Orchard.

possibly one of the worst nasi padangs i’ve ever had. i cannot understand all the good reviews, they’ve probably not had proper nasi padang yet. the food was severely lacking flavour. the lemak chili padi was totally bland. the green and red sambals, and had zero spice. would not recommend at all if you’re craving nasi padang, any other option out there is going to be better for sure. however, i must credit the friendly staff, for being accommodating to my request for extra sambal.

One of the most original Indonesian padang food. We love coming here on weekends, there could be a crowd but it's okay. I like the ayam bakar and rendang.

This is the closest nasi padang taste to Indonesia you can find in Singapore. I can see some comments of ppl may not be a fan of Indonesian flavour because minang house definitely is a true Indonesian taste and flavour profile, unlike random nasi padang stores in Singapore where it taste nothing like indo. It's the only nasi padang store that fix our crave without having to travel back to Indo. The prices are fair and reflects the authenticity of their dishes.

Food was tasty, and staff was helpful to remind me of the price as I was ordering. They probably know that their price is higher than other similar stalls. This plate (ayam lemak, long beans, begedil) was $10.

Came here on a weekday lunch and it was really crowded with long queues. Mainly serving Nasi Padang and some sides in their menu, would say that it's a great place for CBD workers to come for lunch.
Portion size is good and flavours are very robust! The curry jackfruit using the inner husk of jackfruit is really interesting. Texture is like simmered cabbage, but with 0 jackfruit smell. Love the robust flavours of the curry that goes really well with the rice. The green and red chilli is a must add at the end ;) 🌶
Bergedil is plump and crispy as well! Average price per person is about ~$6~8 for 2 veg 1 meat.

Popular nasi padang restoran inside Lucky Plaza that typically enjoys long queues during lunch time. The beef rendang and other chicken dishes are nice. The sambal belachan will taste better if it were spicier. Prices are reasonable. Stall owners are friendly.
