Beware! absurdly long lunch break at Paragon branch. Door sign said till 3pm! No website mention of this. Wasted an afternoon coming

I have most of my paintings framed by Merlin for the past 3 exhibitions I have participated in. I am very happy with the quality of the materials, the workmanship and the professional and friendly service by Angela and Noorul. Especially for Angela , who patiently shared her professional advice on choosing the right frame (on the colour, type and size of the wood and the mat etc) to match and enhance each painting. A right frame will certainly enhance the overall look of a painting making it more attractive and valuable. I have learned a lot from her and will certainly come back for framing of all my future paintings.

This is the first time that I am using Merlin framing for artworks and I must say that I am utterly disappointed. I opted for a double side acrylic so that the artist drawings on the back is still visible. I understand that Merlin might have limitations to do this and needed to use double side tape. However, the workmanship was horrendous and unprofessional. The tape at the back acrylic window used was dirty and patchy. This was the condition when I opened up the frame today. See photos. Completely no thought was put into this. Very very disappointed and an overhyped framer.
