The satay porridge was certainly the highlight here! Never before I’ve ever developed craving for a porridge till now! That thick creamy rice texture along with some tasty satay meat and gravy is simply too good to be true!

I found MAKAN PORRIDGE's meal is very unique, as I have never tried satay combined with porridge as a meal before!!!
I have tried their Satay Chicken Porridge, it is very delicious. But in order to unleash the full flavour of it, you can mix the porridge with their sides. Personally, I have mixed the Tumeric Satay Chicken Porridge with Popcorn Chicken, Fried Wanton and Crispy Chicken.

📝 It’s my first time trying out the tumeric satay chicken porridge and I really like it. Warm and comforting. And with tumeric known for it’s health benefits like boosts immunity, improves digestion & anti-inflammatory. And the crispy fish skin goes super well with the porridge and also tastes great on its own.
Even though the food are delivered to me, it doesn’t compromises the quality. I received the satay and porridge hot, and you tiao, wanton & fish skin still crispy! 👍🏼

Their turmeric porridge is amazingly good, which is something you cant find elsewhere. Pretty unique, and its not overwhelming the taste. I would also recommend their satay as they're tender!

It’s nice to enjoy my fav type of comfort food with a little bit of twist. I didn’t know that satay chicken can go so well with porridge until I’ve tried makanporridge .
You have to try their signature satay chicken with turmeric porridge which smells and tastes really good. It’s a must to add some crispy you tiao to go along! Love how tender the chicken is and also the fragrant satay sauce. To make your meal more satiating, you can add on the fried seafood wonton as your sides. 😋
Their fried fish skin is really addictive too. I enjoy having them in my porridge as well as munching on them like a snack. Without any seasoning or salt, it’s a bag of natural and crunchy goodness just the way I like it.

Best porridge in central area! Makan porridge has delicious side dishes like their crispy chicken cutlet too.
We ordered with set (YouTiao & Drink), the portion quite big. Top porridge in singapore will be the satay porridge! Their porridge more “thick” so easy to get full. Very yummy!!
Price is reasonable too.
The shop is in Far East Plaza Orchard, first timer maybe need some time to look for it. Shop design is simple but is ok. I guess their main point is to provide good & delicious food.
Next visit i will buy the satay box !
