Sister and i decided to go to taka instead mandarin cos we thought their menu is different from mandarin gallery. So we order rosu pork cos service said it has more fat. The staff were attentive and efficient. Food wise so so. The pork was disappointing cos certain part of the pork wasn't chewable cos of the tendon. At mandarin, i never encounter such issue. We feedback to the staff, they said, ya cos of the tendon of the pork, etc. mmm..well, thats it. I am not asking for any compensation or anything but erh...its rather disappointing to me. I wont visit this branch for tonkasu, will go back to mandarin next time. sorry. The dessert selection also not much. They serve soup in a coffee cup, not a good way to serve soup in a coffee cup, not presentable at all, weird! very weird! And the dipping sauce for the pork also no sesame seed compared to mandarin gallery, why no consistancy? Now i understand why google review for this branch is only 3 stars, i totally agree. Please take this review to improve, don't be discouraged guys, reflect and improve. CHEERS!

Cesar salad was refreshing. Clam chowder soup was creamy and tasty. Black Tonkatsu Pork was tender but slightly fatty. Steak was well-cooked in medium. Meat was soft and go well with black pepper sauce. Fruit Tart was my favourite, the fruit was fresh and the texture of the base crust not too hard nor too soft. The cheese cake was yummy too, it’s rich in its taste. Strawberry cake fill with too much cream. Complimentary birthday dessert will only be given on actual day, the management should look into this to attract more customers.

The last visit, was not impressed with the staff nor the food.
This visit, nothing has changed. If anything, it's gotten worse.
The food is just average for this price. The staff clears your plates without waiting for you to say "yes". The table cloth has stains.
Another thing that spoiled the dinner mood.. they had some promotion for kids and family. We have one kid.
The kid gets a toy. But what if i wanted one too? Is it really that expensive a thing to make a customer happy?

I visited Ma Maison recently. We were seated at a corner table, and it took a while for the staff to notice us and take our order, possibly because the restaurant was quite busy. The service was just okay; the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and not very cheerful, likely due to high workloads. On the bright side, the food was delicious! We had the chicken steak with garlic and a tonkatsu set. The chicken was cooked perfectly—tender and juicy. The tonkatsu tasted great, though the portion seemed smaller than what we remember from our first visit. Overall, it was a good experience, and we’d be happy to come back! For dessert, we got lucky with the last slice of strawberry chocolate cake—it was tasty and not overly sweet. Overall, it was a good visit, and we’d be happy to come back again!

LOVE THE ONION SOUP AND POTATO GRATIN! Food is so on point and service is great, although they did get less attentive when they became busier which is totally understandable. Do come earlier on weekends as the queue can be quite long after 6.
Daily lunch sets are pretty worth it too, they serve different set meals every weekday.
