[Update] After my previous (now editted) comment, the owner showed genuine intention to resolve the issue. When I returned, the staff apologized and did not pressure me to delete the review in order to get a refund. The final exchange rate was adjusted to 1 SGD = 115 yen. I’ve changed my rating to 4 stars, as the issue did cost me extra time. Hopefully, similar mistakes won’t happen too often in the future.

Strongly agree with a poster below that some of the reviews don't seem to be real ones. Service, rate, nor vibes doesn't commensurate with the 4.9/5 ratings. Rate is so-so only. Might want to head to PPC instead. Much better rates there.

Reliable and trustworthy I’ve used Lion City Money Changer a few times, and they've always given competitive rates. Slightly long queue during weekends, but worth the wait.

Even though I stay in Pasir Ris I always travel into the city to get my currency from this money changer. They offer the best rates in town (by far) and Shameer is always a real pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend using Lion City Money Changer as you will not be disappointed.
