As a working adult with office located in the Orchard belt, Lim Kee Yong Tau Foo is a godsent place.
The food is not only value-for-money but the quality is also amazing; they have got this very heartwarming vibe to their food :)
There are a total of 27 different variations of food you can choose from, and for the YTF there are even 14 different type of noodles including rice that you can select from; the amount of customization available is unbelievable.
A secret tip, when ordering their YTF tell the friendly auntie that you want their 黑酱 (black sauce) and they will mix for you their in-house savory, mushroom with minced meat black sauce for you instead of the usual tomato/chilli combination. You're welcome!

My go-to place in Orchard area for a bowl of hearty soup with light ingredients. 6 pieces with rice for $5.20, probably one of the cheapest eats in town. Ingredients are fresh, lots of variety, and ample seating for a quick meal. Staff is friendly and ensures you get your meal asap. Can't get any better than this!

Good variety of ingredients. Wide selection of noodles. I tried mee pok, but felt it was a bit overcooked. Nevertheless the sauce mix was quite good. Price is reasonable.

Hearty bowl of laksa yong tau fu . For me I prefer the watery kind so it’s perfect for me. The deep fried items - bean curd skin and potato is extra shiok
The fish is freshly fried, which is a pleasant surprise cos most places prefry it. Makes a huge difference.
Will be back if I’m visiting far east plaza and want a simple meal

Best place in town for some hearty noodles! Portion was really generous (as pictured) and food was tasty. Auntie at the cashier was really friendly too! Highly recommend.

The lady boss prepares all yong tau foo items, I love the fried yam, potato, triangle bean curd cake & many more. The soup is clear and tasty. Everything is reasonably priced. It also seems to be a popular eatery among those who work in Far East Plaza.

The Yong Tau Foo here is affordable given that this place is located at Orchard. I noticed that they offer a wide variety of noodle choice or white rice to go along with the Yong Tao Foo. Starts from $3.90 for 6 pcs.
Apart from Yong Tao Foo, they also offer some rice dishes which looks good, I will try it next time.

great place to escape the weekend crowds in the main malls along orchard road if you're just looking to eat dinner. wanted to eat greenview cafe mhk but it was closed so i chanced upon this place, only a few people around and no queue on sun night. had fish soup beehoon, delicious and wholesome. very good price too. friendly staff running the shop. would love to come back and try the other dishes.

terrible service, ordered fish fillet rice and waited for more than 30min, when i check w the counter it had already long been done and they just left it there. it is all cold. server simply said sorry insincerely, without doing anything. it is lunch time and i actually have to go back to work on time, ended up getting scolded by my boss. never buying again from them.

This is my favourite place to go for Yong Tau Foo. The boss and staff are very friendly and their ingredients are freshly prepared everyday and they also have other set items on their menu. Great place for a quick bite!!
