Nope, i will not be going back to Lavender Bakery and nope, I will not recommend people to visit either. Price is expensive and the least they can do is to wrap the sesame cream bun in an appropriate packaging - like a plastic box -instead of dumping into a plastic bag which had the cream smeared all over the plastic. U wanna charge premium, then please provide decent packaging and staff training on food handling. Additionally, for $2.80 - the amount of cream is really disappointing.- just for show... From now on, no thank you. I felt like I wasted my money here.. will definitely NOT recommend you going there to waste time and money.

It is price alot higher than the Japanese bakery chains across them and the ones in Takaashimaya, some classic icons like the honey swissroll is alot more costly, and there was also some cakes at 20 dollars a roll. They seemed understaff as the refrigerated cake display had no one attending to it, after more than 5 mins wait i have to trouble this very nice lady who was supposed to be at the kitchen to assist us. And that cake was not great either

I won’t be coming back. Even though there was a clear line of customers, one male staff member completely ignored us and just kept doing his own tasks, despite there being an unused register right next to him. When I finally got to the counter, the woman at the register didn’t say a single word—not even a simple “thank you for waiting” or a greeting. She was completely silent from start to finish. On top of that, before I had even finished paying, she started bagging items for the next customer. The whole interaction felt rushed, cold, and extremely rude. It completely ruined what should’ve been a simple visit. No matter how good the bread is, I won’t support a place that treats customers this way.

I recently visited Lavender Bakery @ Ion, and unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming, particularly due to the service.
The staff member at the counter, a lady in a striped top, was noticeably impatient and seemed irritated, making me feel as though I was doing something wrong. It felt uncomfortable, especially considering I have previously tried Lavender Bakery in Malaysia, where the service was far friendlier and more welcoming.
Additionally, the pricing here felt a bit steep. While the quality of Lavender Bakery's products is generally good, the prices didn’t seem justified compared to what I am used to in Malaysia, where items are more reasonably priced.
Overall, the atmosphere and service here could use some improvement, as it took away from what could have been a more enjoyable visit.
Lavender Bakery could benefit from more consistency in its service and pricing to better align with customer expectations.

Worst cake ever. Got this Lychee Rose Millie Crepe cake for birthday celebration, crepe was not outstanding, it has a weird plastic/ spoilt batter taste. Totally not worth the price.

Their cakes are selling for $5.50 each! Sourdough for $4.40! Unbelievable! These prices are a SUPER rare gem because it is located at a prime location, in ION! Nowadays, one slice of cake costs $8.80 or $11.90! I bought 4 pieces of their cakes in 4 different flavours! 👍👍👍 One of them is a tiramisu, only $5++! …

We found this lovely bakery in the ION Orchard shopping mall in Singapore. All the pastries are freshly made, lots to choose from. I had the garlic chicken sausage pastry and a blueberry muffin. My husband had a custard danish and pastry I don't remember the name of. You choose the items you want on a tray, take it to the counter to have them bagged and pay. Take away lunch or brunch food. Everything looked scrumptious, if I lived in Singapore I would be going to Lavender everyday. Well worth a try, it's busy, that's a good sign the food is good.

Lavender Bakery is a Malaysian bakery that offers a variety of breads, cakes, pastries, and macarons. We visited their outlet at ION Orchard which is located at the basement level, near the food hall. The bakery has a pleasant and inviting atmosphere but was quite crowded when we visited where long lines formed at the cashier.
Overall, we enjoyed the pastries from Lavender Bakery and would recommend it to anyone who loves bread and cakes. The bakery has a good variety of products and the prices are reasonable. However, the bakery could improve on their service and crowd control as it gets very crowded and noisy. I would suggest visiting during off-peak hours.
