A plate of happiness with bites of old school~ Open late at night from 10:30pm till late, perfect for supper! Food is served hot and rice is fragrant with the right amount of lemakness, sunny side up is fried perfectly and the chicken wing is well marinated😋 Slightly pricey for a plate of Nasi lemak, but it’s satisfying👌🏻👌🏻

Always wanted to try the nasi lemak from this shop. I reached close to 11pm on a friday night. 2 plates cost around $7+ each. Verdict Rice- not very fragrant but tasty Chili- one of the best, not too sweet Fried chicken wing- lightly marinated, crispy hot very yummy Luncheon meat- crispy but a tad dry could have been juicier Otah- ok only Omelette- pretty thick, value for money Fish fillet- (not in pic as we added after) but was also nicely deep fried Limited seating of 8 seats around the serving area which i found interesting hence be prepared to wait if you wish to dine in. Service is good too, despite the queue, they are not impatient and serves up the food calmly. Recommend for a good late night supper spot!

Great nasi lemak - hits the spot. Not the cheapest, but worth it. Located on the fourth floor of Orchard Plaza, along with other popular supper spots. This is a no frills establishment that opens late into the night. Ordered an all-in nasi lemak, and it was a little over $12. This included a perfectly runny egg, otah, processed fish fillet, fried luncheon meat & sausage, & fried chicken (wing & drumstick). Really enjoyed the sambal which went nicely with everything. You might smell like oil afterwards, but overall great meal!

Best spot to get your late night Nasi lemak supper fix in the orchard area. No frills simple establishment with less than 10 counter seats. Food is served hot, rice is fragrant with the lemakness, sunny side up is fried perfectly and the chicken wing is lightly marinated. Slightly pricey for a plate of Nasi lemak, but it’s still power! Ps they only accept cash.

One of the most shiok Nasi Lemak I ever had in my life. The rice and the ingredients' combinations can be simple, but somehow for some reasons, this simple plate of Nasi Lemak tastes magnificent. Everytime I visit, I will order 1 plate with additional rice, and with all ingredients, and the owner, Wei Lun, will transfer the rice from a small plate to a bigger plate before taking the ingredients. I frequent that place until whenever he sees me, he automatically use the bigger plate for me straightaway. Shiok max for supper!

Honestly one of the nicest nasi lemak i had in my life Rice is fragrant, not mushy or soft but are firm individual pieces and not clumpy like some franchise stalls. Eggs were very well cooked and soft runny center with crispy outer, topped with soy sauce it gives the savoury salty flavour to it which i like the chicken wing was ever so slightly dry but it was still hot and flavourful, nothing to complain about there ikan bilis were crispy with no hard spots and with good flavour the chilli complements well with the rice and the dishes. however for the price is paid is a little high (but understandable), in my opinion it is well worth its price for a once-in-awhile kind of nasi lemak treat late at night. ill say the price point is worth of the ingredient quality, no black charred spots for using dirty oil with good flavour. will definitely come back again albeit the higher price but for better quality and good tasting nasi lemak

Late-night no-frills nasi lemak. Opens at 1030pm till late in the morning for the nocturnal crowd. The rice is fresh and hot. Chilli is not spicy but tasty and savory serving as more of an accompaniment to the rice. Fried egg with sweet sauce, runny yolk and crunchy bits. Crispy luncheon meat. All prepared fresh on the day. If you are looking for a modern or fresh take on the beloved local dish, look elsewhere. This place serves authentic food done well, and the food tastes exactly the same as I remembered it 10 yrs ago.

Old school Nasi lemak with awesome sunny side up and crispy chicken wings. Prices starting from $5 onwards and varies depends on number of ingredients you choose. This little shop have been operating for the last 35years and now is helmed by the son of the lady boss. Operation hours are Wednesday to Saturday ( 430pm to 11pm). Seats are limited so take away will be good if you have a group of 3 or more.

Tough one! As much as I wanted to give a 5 stars but it's just lacking something... Nevertheless, it was interesting standing behind a small line at a tiny stall with 7-8 seats and munching away the food under the eyes of others. I didn't have to wait long for the 3 pax Infront of me having takeaway and soon in less than 5 min, I got my solo seat in between other diners. (If u wish for a comfortable and relaxed seating, then dapao home to eat would be a better choice). Although it looks normal, but the plating somehow made it look delicious. The rice was pretty much by normal standard and I can immediately smell all the fried food (in a good way). First bite into the rice was good, with nice smell of pandan (?). It's popping hot too! However the rice was slightly harder than I would like. Still no complaints... Luncheon meat and otah was pretty normal but I like them anyway. The fried egg comes with some black sauce, which is very My Style, so thumbs up to that! I ended off with the chicken wing, which was probably the best part of the meal. Very crunchy, well marinated and freshly fried so it's hot, just the way a fried chicken wing shd be! It wouldn't lose much to Tenderfresh or Arnold too! I didn't order drink and the meal comes up to $8.20. It's neither expensive, mor exactly cheap. My initial estimation was $7-7.50 so maybe that loses a point to me, despite being at Orchard road. The queue itself is a testament to the quality of the food, with many working ladies also ordering that for takeaway. It could also be that little hype after being featured on social media recently. But overall, it's really decent for a good nasi lemak in orchard! U get Aircon too! Overall, this is a power 8.5 out of 10. Short of Abit to get that 5 stars from me, but good enough for me to come back again, and again, and again... Soon.
