Kin Hoi Famous Thai Food at Orchard Towers has established itself as a go-to destination for authentic Thai cuisine in the Orchard Road precinct. Located at B1-24 of 400 Orchard Road, the restaurant operates daily from 10am to 3.30pm and 4.30pm to 9pm, serving both lunch and dinner crowds seeking genuine Thai flavours in a casual dining setting.
The restaurant has gained particular recognition for its signature Thai-Teochew style cockles, a unique fusion that showcases the establishment's creative approach to traditional dishes. Their famous boat noodles, priced at $7.50, deliver the authentic street food experience that has made this dish beloved across Thailand, whilst the Thai-style vermicelli offers diners a choice between the original plain version at $8 or a premium crayfish option at $18.
The menu spans the spectrum of Thai favourites, from pad thai and basil rice with pork or chicken to more elaborate offerings like the special Thai double fried pork, marinated for over 10 hours to achieve optimal tenderness and flavour. Seafood lovers will appreciate the selection including raw prawn salad, deep-fried seabass Thai-style paired with Thai mango salad, and various fried rice options featuring prawns and squid.
The signature crispy omelette, available plain or with choice of protein, represents another highlight, whilst the Thai pineapple fried rice and green curry with chicken cater to those seeking classic Thai comfort food. Diners can enhance their meal with Kin Hoi's homemade Thai milk tea, with convenient QR code ordering available at each table for a seamless dining experience.

Thai Green Curry (Chicken)
$12.00
The Thai name for green curry literally means green and sweet curry. Although green curry is one of the most famous Thai dishes, little is known about its historical origins. One of its first mentions was in the early 1900s by Khun Ying Plien Plassakornwong, a sort of Thai Mrs Beeton. She was a lady-in-waiting at the royal palace in Bangkok and compiled the first comprehensive cookbook of Thai recipes. The green colour is derived from green chillies, introduced to Thailand by early Portuguese traders.

Ordered a pork garlic rice today I left the entire food there because was horrible, pork meat very bad quality with horrible taste and the fried egg they served together was looking like fried hours ago and nothing tasting fresh at all. Never again.

Beef and noodles were both amazing. Milk tea was great too. Some of the best Thai food I’ve had outside Thailand!

Back again but this time at this Orchard Towers outlet. Their OG is at Holland. But
Here they’ve got EXCLUSIVE dishes.
Thai Chicken Rice
Legit might be one of the BEST chicken rice spots in Orchard. We got both poached and roasted — tender, juicy, flavour bomb. And the real MVP? That signature chilli sauce. Tangy, spicy, 🔥 10/10.
Traditional Boat Noodles
You have to try this. Rich, bold pork broth packed with secret Thai spices. It’s hearty and lowkey addictive. Honestly one of the best boat noodles I’ve had in SG. Real Thai vibes. 🇹🇭
Gong Gong (Sea Conch)
Missed this at their Holland V outlet, so had to redeem myself at Kin Hoi Orchard — and NO REGRETS. Meat pulls out clean, texture is chewy fresh, and that iconic Kin Hoi chilli? Slaps. Hard. This one’s a certified MUST-TRY.
Thai Milk Tea
Can’t do Thai food without the Thai milk tea, right? This one’s rich, creamy, not too sweet — super shiok with all the spicy food.

Yummy food! Love their Thai mango salad, prawn vermicelli, Tom yum seafood soup, omelette and of course, their cockles - both style.
Viva La Vida
Very crowded during weekday lunchtime, waited for more than 30 mins for food to arrive. The eatery tried their best to cope with the orders and exhibited excellent service recovery. However, do check for estimated wait time if you have tight work lunch hours. Food was good but the wait time deters return. Chicken rice was fragrant and the chicken was tender. Try the claypot glass noodle, very well marinated and flavored. We enjoyed the crab omelette. Stir fried cabbage average, would be better if the sauce was more absorbed into the cabbage. The tom yum soup was a tad spicy for some to handle. Thai milk tea is not too sweet and tasted great. Overall, worth a try, nice Thai food in general.

The beef is a must order. It’s so tender - I was shocked when I poked it with my fork and it sank in so easily. For $15, given the quality, very worth it!
The boat noodles was also so good. Soup was tasty and the noodles very bouncy!
